I'm excited to see Rich Strike in the Belmont Stakes and see how he does. I also love Rich Strike's fiery personality it's very refreshing to see that in a horse. Keep me updated on Rich Strike.👍
I love the wild card of a race horse. Rich Strike diffenitely is super hyperactive and he likes to slobber, shaking his head side to side with his 👅 hanging out on one side of his 👄 😆 🤣 😂
Richie loves to run! He also has a close bond with his grooms and everyone that cares for him. He knows he is loved and wants to do his BEST for them! He also has very long legs for a ground eating stride and tons of gears and strong endurance! I can only compare Richie with the finest sports car! I think he'll "leave them all in the dust" Saturday!!!
I can see that he’s loving all the attention he’s getting. He went from an unknown $30,000 claimer to stardom. He knows that he did something really special. He seems to like hamming it up for the cameras….staring right at the lens just like Secretariat used to do. Next Thursday, June 9th, will be the 49th anniversary of Secretariat’s Belmont Stakes. It would be so fitting if Rich Strike, who is that same red chestnut color, wins the Belmont Stakes. He reminds me of a smaller version of Big Red without all the white. For some reason I just love this former claimer and still can’t get over that he only cost $30,000. That’s just unbelievable. The biggest bargain to this day is still Seattle Slew who was purchased for $17,500 unraced. Although, thirty thousand dollars for a race horse today is dirt cheap.
