Seriously. You can really feel Luigi’s fear in all his expressions. And whenever he saves a Toad, the little “don’t mention it” smile he pulls is absolutely perfect.
Also, the way Luigi squints and his eyebrows furrow a little when he puts in a button is fantastic. There’s so much attention to detail in the expressions in this game.
Alright, I'm not holding back: I love these cutscenes. Luigi and the others are so smoothly animated and the little details of Mario and Luigi's brotherly love is there like with their hug and them saying "night night" and "way to go bro". And Mario and Peach's relationship is there too like when Mario is beside peach and wants to protect her. *you can see it if you look for it*.It's so WHOLESOME. And the toads are so cute, I mean they squeak now, I repeat they squeak! THEY SQUEAK !

That's one of the things I really love about the Mario & Luigi RPGs; the cast feel like they have more personality and of course, you have an actual story. (I truly cannot comprehend why Miyamoto would be anti-story stories are fun!) And of course, there's plenty of Mario and Luigi interactions in those games which I cannot get enough of. But yeah, Mario is far more relatable when he's allowed an actual personality of sorts, not just the Everyman. Hopefully, AlphaDream will be revived and we'll get more RPGs and also more action-adventure games like this. :)
Y'know what's funny? When Luigi tells Mario a story about his adventures in the Waffle Kingdom, he and his Party fall asleep after awhile. But when Luigi cracks open a book, he himself conks out instantly.

Characters have more emotion, even King Boo, Lips sync with voice clips despite not being fully voiced, Mario and Luigi have new voice clips, cutscenes are CGI glory. All we need now is full voice acting that’s actually good, and the Mario series will finally be modernized in terms of visuals and storytelling!

Finally coming back here after completing the game and seeing all these. Oh my GOD! I love this game's cutscenes. Absolutely adorable to see Mario, Luigi and co. so expressive like this. The voice acting is also surprisingly great. I was a bit concerned because Luigi's early game screams and grunts seemed kind of...Off, almost like Charles' age was starting to show. However it just appears to be a few awkward takes as Luigi definitely started to sound like Luigi again. The other characters are also great, both performances at 1:02:09 are especially top notch.
FUN FACT did you know certain cutscenes actually alter when you play Co-op? I discovered that when i faced the cop ghost with my friend where Gooigi actually says I Did it as well making Luigi slightly disturbed

@@supershadowfan04 There's actually a whole story about how Gooigi was made written by E Gadd, and he actually explains how Gooigi is sentient and also controlled by Luigi. There's some sort of pad on the Poltergust G-00 that's pressed against Luigi's back. When Gooigi is released, Luigi can use that to transfer his consciousness into Gooigi. That's why in single player whenever Luigi controls Gooigi, he's always slumped over with his eyes closed and can only make small movements like give a thumbs up.

Finally coming back here after completing the game and seeing all these. Oh my GOD! I love this game's cutscenes. Absolutely adorable to see Mario, Luigi and co. so expressive like this. The voice acting is also surprisingly great. I was a bit concerned because Luigi's early game screams and grunts seemed kind of...Off, almost like Charles' age was starting to show. However it just appears to be a few awkward takes as Luigi definitely started to sound like Luigi again. The other characters are also great, both performances at 1:02:09 are especially top notch.

@@supershadowfan04 There's actually a whole story about how Gooigi was made written by E Gadd, and he actually explains how Gooigi is sentient and also controlled by Luigi. There's some sort of pad on the Poltergust G-00 that's pressed against Luigi's back. When Gooigi is released, Luigi can use that to transfer his consciousness into Gooigi. That's why in single player whenever Luigi controls Gooigi, he's always slumped over with his eyes closed and can only make small movements like give a thumbs up.

so it probably have even more development time than Odyssey too.
Though, honestly, I think it has more to do with the fact that Next Level made it,
