It's so cool to see other female tuba payers!! I've been playing for almost five years (since I was in middle school) and it's so fun. I'm in my sophomore year in high school now and I've been looking for more pieces to play. For this year's solo and ensemble I'm playing Andante and Rondo and it's so fun!

This video made me fall in love with this piece! I did the first and second movement my junior year of high school for Solo & Ensemble competition and received a grade 1. However, I didn't go to state because I chickened out last minute and didn't do it memorized 😔 I still really enjoy this piece and come back to this video every now and then. You played this absolutely beautifully!

시간은 좀 지났지만 석사 졸업을 축하합니다. 잘 들었습니다. 튜바의 푸근한 소리가 참 좋네요

I got to play the first movement after a year of tuba for marching band, this year I want to play the 2nd and 3rd movement. You sound amazing and much better than cello!

IMO you could make this a lot more interesting by bringing the aggressive coloring you used in the first movement and sprinkling it into the finale. I really like the variety of textures you use in your playing, but in some places you'd be wise to hold back a bit tone-wise and focus on developing the phrase through expressive articulation rather than try to one-up yourself with more and more volume. Either way, your playing is quite nice, and you'd trash me in an audition without a doubt :)
