Making a DIY Louis Vuitton Keychain!
For our special 10,000 Subscriber episode, we took apart a vintage Louis Vuitton hand bag to make a wallet. We had some leftover Louis Vuitton Fabric, so for our 30,000 Subscriber episode we decided to make a key chain! We used natural vegetable tanned leather on the inside, and made our own keychain design that is reminiscent of the Louis Vuitton style.
This keychain is cut and sewn by hand. We used Red edge paint and yellow threads from Vinymo for the Louis Vuitton style touch.

Thank you for sharing your skills!! I’ve been sewing since I was a child, but I have never done leather goods. If have an LV bag so old the leather is split and peeling. The cost to refurbish it is more than it would be worth in the long run. This is such a great idea! I love to recycle items around the house.

Great Work. Just A Suggestion, maybe Putting Some Loctite On The Buttons Screw, That Way It Prevents It From Ever Coming Loose From Regular Use. Not Saying They Do, But It Would Definitely Keep It From Happening.
