Who would ever think that they would add a restriction rubber washer. I know, so you would call an expensive plumber to fix it. You just saved a lot of money 💰

It's a o-ring used for gov't restriction they swell over time due to the hot water temp they have to be installed by the factory in order to qualify for waterflow restiction,we remove them before installing any faucet especially Pfister

I been dealing with this for quite some time now, I've taken apart the two faucets in our main bathroom and couldn't figure it out, thank you for such a simple little O-ring to have that much restriction. Now the wife is happy with full force/blast of streaming water. Thank you!!!

Dang, I have three of these on three sinks and one is flowing slow. I thought the thing had gotten clogged up so I just ordered a new one today, but after watching your video I am going to try your fix. If it works you are my HERO and I will send the new one back to Amazon. God Bless DYIers.
UPDATE : few hours later, I used your suggestions on how to remove the faucet handle, but I used a pair of Snap Ring pliers to remove the collar that holds down the faucet cartridge. Worked great and I had it in my tool box. Harbor Freight has them as well. So project complete, no leaks and I have great water flow from this faucet. Thank you again for putting this RUclips together. The new faucet that I ordered from Amazon will arrive tomorrow and I will send it back , thanks to you.

Definitely odd they only have those two holes to unscrew it. Perhaps that's a normal way of doing it in China but I saw no information on anyone else that had to take off one like that. Luckily that spanner was just a couple of bucks on Amazon but it took like 3 weeks to sail across the sea ;p

I have this exact same faucet and have been fighting the low flow issue for some time. Thank you so much. I left the entire flow restrictor out (not just the o-ring) and it gets even more flow. If turned on completely, it will splash out of the sink. I no longer have small children so I'm leaving it that way. The teenagers who use this bathroom can moderate the flow with the handle, as it should be, and are loving it.

I have not gotten to it yet, but a plumber once advised me to try changing out the filter inside the cartridge first. If it's still not working, then replace the cartridge rather than replace the faucet...

You could have left the little blue water restrictor out of the faucet. Almost all new faucets have them in either the aerator at the faucet spout or they are under the valve cartridge. I always take them out when installing faucets. The water restrictor in most aerators for the spout sometimes are like a clear pinkish film and barely perceptible. Others look like a very fine screen with a rubber washer around the edges. I just use the tiny screwdriver tip corner to scape them off. They always come off in one piece. The EPA passed a rule that all new faucets have these lousy water restrictors in them. And look at the problems it causes people. There are several other YT videos on this same subject.

Thank you for saving me money. The low flow started a long time ago and was almost at a stop. This fixed my issue as well. Now I have to turn the supply valves way down because the pressure is so good but too good for the sink. Again, thank you so much for sharing this.

We're renovating our bathroom, and this faucet is one of the new features to our ensemble.. haven't worked to the point of installing it yet, but I am glad I came across your video... as we have well water, I anticipate encountering some blockage and slowing of water flow over time... after viewing your video, I'm going to save myself the time and just remove the restricter(s) before the full install. Thank you for posting this!

You could always partially close the valves underneath to slow that flow down but you are correct the water is now blowing by where that o ring was.

My problem isn't water flow, I want to know why this company would build a faucet with an aerator that is not replaceable. I had issues with my previous faucet collecting goop I mean it looked like black mold so I would replace the aerator regularly. I bought a waterfall faucet same manufacturer but similar to this one unknowing that the aerator was permanent. If I'm wrong please advise. Nice video.
