So, the most fascinating thing about this whole podcast was learning that Craig Jones read The Power Broker lol. Anybody who isn’t familiar - it looks like an encyclopedia and is a notoriously tough read about (in a nutshell) old NY politics and city planning. Her must’ve hated NYC so much that he became curious how it became this way lol.

I went into the comp training class after rolling for only 7 weeks and there were two white belts and our brown belt coach. Half the class was gi and other half no gi. I popped a rib hard and I’m still recovering a week later but as I’m laying there not being able to move I asked “after we finished that station do he go no gi and then start it all over? 90+ minutes in?!? Coach said yes and I told him respectfully to go “F” himself and we all have a laugh as I lay paralyzed.
New York and North Jersey are amazing😂 Always fights and crackheads wilding, easy to get drugs and make money if u know the right people. Never a dull moment
