You can't beat that price on the Fusion. I got one and I'm in love. Slapped some Treals and RC4WD MT Baja Claws with green and blue injora tire inserts....chefs kiss 💋 😚
You know your trucks and the course so good, you know exactly what the trucks are gonna do....That's lots of experience !!!! Very impressive all while one handed also 👍👍
@@chainsaw7887i get that. my pockets are drained from rc anyway ive got 3 boys that want every new truck available. but occasionally very occasionaly i can get one for myself 👍🏻🤣

Hey nice video and channel! I really enjoy your content. I also have a Redcat Fusion as my first 1/10 scale rig. Totally agree about the punchiness. Any solutions? I’m a little disappointed in the lack of throttle curve adjustment compared to my 1/18 setups. I’m thinking that running 2S might help and be the cheapest solution. Maybe upgrading the radio to something that can adjust the curve? Any recommendations on radios? Any other options with the RTR Fusion? I believe the Fusion SE is also limited in adjusting throttle curve.
I think your best bet is upgrading the controller that has the ability to adjust expo. I got a flysky fs-gt5 for $70 and it’s great! Currently have a scx10.3 Basecamp builders kit with a fusion se 1800kv in it and the controller has the expo adjustment that helps a lot with its punchyness. Got it dialed in now and it’s so easy to control. Definitely gonna buy another $20 receiver for my future redcat ascent fusion pro 👍🏻
I did a test run with my Ascent Fusion and immediately changed the Receiver so I can use my FlySky Noble. Stock Radio is really not that good regarding the throttle curve, other than that I only changed the Inserts to the Injora green ones. Pretty happy with the Stock tires, but I still plan on changing them for the Megalithic's
Wow closer than I thought it would be. Redcat saves you $100 if both are built up the same and if you spent that on a Dsm chassis or better radio, it might edge out the Ecto. I really hope the Ascent Fusion forces other brands to step up their electronics game. It sucks that we have to pay for electronics that are worthless just to immediately swap them out.
For all those commenting.. what do you think the point of this video is to you? Comparisons will always be apple vs oranges. straight and portal axles have to drive diff lines. someone whom knows their course knows which way to go. so, for the rigs to look so close is because of the driver whom knows their lines. So then the question is, which rig makes you smile? That's the one you root for right? And which ones do better in comps with gates that force you to take specific lines? Which one fits your drive style? Its cool to see 2 rigs or move go together because viewers can see how to drive their particular rig better
Well, for me, it's all new, so seeing comparisons help because I don't know what's out there. I recently saw the new redcat, so now I'm taking it all in before I buy a redcat or something else.
Do what you just said you won't find nothing else on the market like the fusion you're telling me that you will pick Redcat Fusion over the stance me personally I've heard a lot of bad about the Redcat system being the Plastics break a lot this that another now on the other hand I've heard nothing but good about Vanquish axles and all their Plastics matter of fact there's a lot of guys that use their axles for their aftermarket or a hop up or building their custom truck on I don't see how maybe Rick gets pretty good Redcat is pretty good but I don't think it's at Vanquish level
That ecto is just a better truck all around it looks better drives better etc etc the hype over any redcat is kind of ridiculous but whatever makes you happy. Have a good one not a opinion just facts
Seems like every time you pull the ecto out you more and more suprised at how it does... your the reason i bought mine and ill never let it go lol

my man you just gained a new subscriber. that was awesome! now im going to spend the next how ever many hours watching your content 👍🏻🤘🏻
Be careful. Watching Exocaged videos gets EXPENSIVE 😅😅

That Ecto might be modded but a stock Ecto out of box is the best rtr crawler made since the original Capra. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Joe I think the swap took the front to 11.83% on Ecto
Absolutely. 👍🏾
Absolutely love my Ecto, and it’s Fusion Pro and when my Gmade Spider portal is done it’ll get a Fusion Pro too

Just getting started in this hobby, thx for the video/ comparison .

That's it. Im buying a element kit and turning it into an Ecto
The gatekeeper was my first kit 👍
@@meirdeaph I've got one on the bench right now, thinking about Capra axles.

Great vid Joe let’s see scx pro vs vrd carbon vs redcat fusion

😁👍
Add some high clearance links to the fusion and it’s game over . Seeing all the mods on the ecto , fusion wins hands down
👍😁😎✌️
My question is will hobbywing offer this motor for sale as its not the same as the ones being offered now?
Great
You should build a enduro platform with Capra axles. I did it and it’s insane
Another awesome run showing how different set ups work

Stance has shit electronics and links. Both can be upgraded. So add about $350 to that stance price tag.
cool
do some scx24 content!!!!!! your so awasome!!!
I thought Bart was the ecto 😅
DUDE IM SICK OF THIS! Pay a kid in the neighborhood 20$ to film this shit and drive with two hands!
I love my ecto, but man that fusion is something else at $399.
That is just a better truck hands down way to much hype over any redcat this from experience and I don’t get paid to drive either one
That ecto is just a better truck all around it looks better drives better etc etc the hype over any redcat is kind of ridiculous but whatever makes you happy. Have a good one not a opinion just facts
The stock redcat was doing everything the modded ecto was doing... Are you saying his modded ecto is worse than a stock one or something?
I'm a no for redcat.. unless it's their 64 blue Impala...
