Sadly i dont like arkham knights levels and the lack of bossbattles ruined it for me.
And tbh the story twist sucks really bad since the entire story is building on this twist.
The ending was good though and it plays like a charm
Rocksteady won’t be doing anything. They shot themselves in the foot when they made _Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League._ They should just file for bankruptcy.

@@Saddonghusseinit isn’t. Sefton Hill decided to abandon ship before it was released. Meaning there will be no new Arkham games. He thought it was not going to work.

Words can not express how much I loved Arkham Asylum when it was released, for its engaging narrative, immersive gameplay, the portrayal of most of Batman's rogues gallery, and capturing DC's dark tone.
Two years later, we got Arkham City, which was even better than Asylum in every way. It transformed the gameplay into more open world-like, with side missions, improvements to the gameplay, new and old villains, and such an emotional journey.
I didn't think that Arkham Origins was as good as the first two games, but I still love it. I still find the narrative engaging, I thought the portrayal of Bane was the best in the series, and the side missions were satisfactory, as well as the DLC. I also thought Blackgate was a good game. Though it could've been better, I still love the idea of an Arkhamverse spin-off on a portable console.
Arkham Knight is not only one of my absolute favourite games, but also, in my own humble opinion, the pinnacle of Batman gaming. Whilst some of the writing could've been better, the story was still amazing. You got to use the Batmobile, the portrayal of Scarecrow is one of, if not, the best, and the amount of content was so immense that it kept me coming back for more.
Then came Suicide Squad, which spat in the face of everything that came before it. Whilst I thought the game was fun to play, what really pissed me off, apart from the live service, was the inconsistent writing. Why expand this universe by bringing in the Justice League? What were they thinking bringing back Batman?
There are two ways Rocksteady can redeem themselves after Suicide Squad. Firstly, release a remaster of Arkham Knight for the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Secondly, develop a follow-up to Arkham Knight that completely disregards SS existence and has Tim Drake as the playable protagonist and becoming Batman's successor.
I might be rambling, but this is how much I love the Arkhamverse
I agree with number 2. Ssktjl ruined the story of the Arkham verse in general. So making ssktjl non canon and making a another game when terry McGinnis or someone else becomes the new Batman

Just because a company who doesn’t give a shit about a game makes one that has a strong IP slapped on to give it any relevancy to have anyone play doesn’t mean it is universally canon to that universe.

It was the best introduction to gaming someone can have. Because of those games im so picky and criticize many games because even asylum has more details and love then modern games.
Those games were my only games i had on ps3 and i had no internet and ive played them over 14 times 100% and now i speedrun them.

@@Snaaake_Beateryeah he tried to pitch the idea of a unsustainable ship which was based off the godawful suicide squad movie in 2016. He then probably knew that the game wasn’t going to be successful so he decided to abandon ship before it sunk.

I love Batman Arkham games. But F*** Suicide Squad game. We don’t talk about it end of story. RIP Kevin Conroy.
All this timeline is amazing, all except SS:KTJL for obvious reasons. That game definitely feels like an alternative universe to the Arkhamverse, like an elseworld which is the post-game missions. Hope that Rocksteady can redeem themselves with their next single player game that is if it is an Arkhamverse/DC one.
They are actually. They know SS was a complete mess. According to the article. Right now they are working a director cut for Hogwarts Legacy. Not only that but they also pitching a new single player game hopping to bring Rocksteady back to it roots.

You are really optimistic if you believe that there is going to be a second season and if there is anyone will play it. If there is then it will be one five minute long cutscene like season 1. There is nothing left salvaging off this game even if they bring the justice league back. The story is very weak. This couldn’t be more true given the fact the company has gone on hiatus for any updates involving the game.

That stupid Suicide Squad game doesn’t exist in my Arkhamverse… the animated Batman: Assault on Arkham movie exists in its place. SS:KTJL is just a miserable, disrespectful joke existing on an alternate Earth or dark alternate timeline.

You forgot the capture of Jason Todd that takes 2 years before the events of Asylum than seeing him escape at the end of the game in the comic

What they need to do:
1. Retcon SSKTJL as an elseworld story still with Kevin Conroy but not in the ArkhamVerse
2. Remaster Arkham Origins with Cold Cold Heart DLC and Multiplayer
3. Release games either with Roger Craig Smith set between Origins and Asylum OR release titles with different protagonists where Batman is still "The Myth" (eg Gotham Knights Arkham Legacy or A justice League game)

They forgot the Batman Origins DLC where it shows Bruce Wayne's ninja training.
the only way to fix the timeline mess the suicide squad kill the justice league created is by, focusing on making the final boss mission happen during the day of invasion, and with the squad ordered to kill braniac before he corrupts the league and send him into the past when the wanye manor exploded. Preventing the reveal and the eventual downfall of batman from ever happening.

The writers put their head in a blender and the one that did fled and didn’t stay to take pride in his work before it was released.

The batman always knew theory has some merit, since joker is a figment of batman’s imagination caused by the fear toxin, there’s no way he could’ve passed down memories, so when batman is recapturing the jokers in the movie studios he probably deduced the arkham knight’s identity and then the videos joker sent batman about jason popped up in his head.

I saw that Kill the JL Batmans death scene twice at least. The first time it flew by me like it was pointless. The second time I realized that Batman was holding back since he knew that he couldn't be cured hence why Harley was sad when she shot him and then she gave that monologue over Batman still being a good guy until the very end after the scene.
Unfortunately the execution was horrendous and poorly done. Especially since they laid him out like a child on that bench. His feet were hanging upward like a rag doll when the squad were talking about Superman and that in itself was also a very poor decision made by Rocksteady. It was as if "Batman died.....ok, moving on". This scene could have simply been done better, and not even Kevin would have liked the way this ended up turning out.
What makes this worse is that the character is intertwined with the voice actor. And it causes pain to many considering that the voice actor himself was around since a lot of peoples childhoods. This honestly felt like Rocksteady peeing on a legacy rather than giving an actual proper send off to a well respected and beloved voice actor that is Kevin Conroy.
These people are pissing all over Conroy’s legacy and his grave!
They could use the Lazarus Pit to bring back the Justice League for a redemption story.

Batman Arkham origns is my favorite Arkham game. I think origns blackgate is decent. I like Arkham asylum, I love Arkham City, and I absolutely hate Arkham Knight. It's trash 🗑 and a trash game and sequel. And I think the sucide Squad kills the Justice League. is pretty good, not perfect, but good
