Can you please test the miner and plug it in with 100volts. I heard that the power supply with work with both 100 and 200 volts even though it says 200-240.
This seems like a cloud mining scam. Why would it take 30 minutes to spool up before it can mine and why can you only mine through the Jasminer web portal? You really should have tried unplugging some fans and seeing if the device would thermal throttle and decrease in hash rate like any other GPU would. The missing fan probably doesn't matter because it's not actually doing legit mining. The inside looks more like a networking device rather than a computing device. You also conveniently left out the fact that this won't be able to mine Ethereum after DAG hits 5gb by August 12 regardless of Eth 2.0 getting delayed or not. There's simply no way you can break even on this with Eth before DAG passes 5gb, and ROI'ing on ETC is a very unlikely gamble given the spike in difficulty that it will see when all of the much more powerful ETH asics convert to ETC also.
I don't trust these guys because if they making such great money. Why they showing so much Trust me they making a killing off views and these sponsors. I'm doing good in a business I'm doing I won't be online with a big mouth adding competition! Unless I make more from talking about it!
I started throwing 4gb Polaris cards at ETC in January and caught the pump in March. Looking forward to the future of ETC, it could be interesting if dapps that prefer the PoW structure migrate over.
Am I wrong in thinking if ETH mining is more profitable than ETC mining - does it not make more sense to mine to eth then exchange it for etc or have I gone wrong somewhere
If Jasminer ASICs which mine ETH will start mining ETC, it will crash profitability immediately. I think, it will be the end of GPU mining, since other PoW cryptos with ASIC resistance is just too small to feed them.
Good review, 👍 yeah 6 months ago I heard of the Jasminer well before Jingle Mining put up their RUclips channel, anyways this unit is real and legit .. my only issue is I mainly have the A10 pro+ and with firmware up it can support ETC as well this means just about any ASIC that supports ETH today can also support ETC after ETH goes POS .. and the profitability of ETC will tank so buying another ASIC for ETH algorithm just did not make sense .. Too bad the original listed price back then was way too high anyone purchase it back in November still have not recovered 50% off the original price yet and today they sell it cheaper but still too expensive base on what may come in a few months.. I wish this device was around back is mid 2020 .. I would have gotten a ton of them vs the A10 pros and pro+ .. just a little too late IMO... BTW it’s not a great idea to test how the system cool itself when having the cover or air guide off .. will not get accurate reading .. still good to know it did not overheat with the cover off .. that’s valuable information 👍
The reason there’s only four fans in the front and five in the back is for slower cold intake and fast exhaust. How must ASICS work. But good video buddy. They must not of been able to limit the speed of the fans for some reason
I don't know why people are pushing this miner because it's way too expensive. There is also a spicy $279 shipping charge just to ship it to Canada. I assume there will also be duty charges when it's imported into your country. Personally, I can get far more MH/s for less money by using GPUs. The Jasminer would be awesome if the advertised price was cut in half and they reduced their shipping costs to the customer.
@@austynnegrete9113 yes there are(sometime maybe), doesn't make the point wrong and when they do then mine something else you're not going to stop. And tbh Hobbyist miner mostly does sponsored videos but doesn't tell us.

@@TswiftCrypto thats what i thought, man if it had 8gb i would definitely buy one. Seems like an easy thing to make it have if they are still making them

Imagine what will happen to ETC difficulty once ETH goes PoS. These unversatile overpriced ASIC machines will instantly become obsolete and you gonna end up realising that elegant VHS players from the golden 80`s have more use case than these 😆
Crazy unit great efficiency. A build for 8 gpu x 6800 xt = $8000 about maybe more with enclose case @each 64*8= 512 hash.. but the winning part is the electricity. 300 w vs 1100 W. Even if GPU prices go down is agreat unit limited on algo only, then again gpu are also, Could Dual Mining be accomplish even at higher electric, the power cost is effective noise and heat huge reduction. But yes a great unit.Looks like they have 2 units on the web site with diff hash but i recall that you can over clock them ..
I think the jasminer x4 is 6GB. So eventually a person would need to go to ETC even if ETH POS gets pushed out. July 2023 I believe is when it would not be able to mine ETH.
Seems like a okay deal but GPU's are going so cheap now that this is only a good option if one is running out of power to use for the farm or if one pays alot for hydro i refuse to pay over $10 a hash they need to come down on the price some more!
Hey! I reached out via Email to hopefully talk to you about an interview as well as some free Helium mining products. I'm hoping to get you some free Helium mining stuff! We love your content over here and want to give you some products from our company to check out! Hope to hear back!

Are you currently Mining Ethereum Classic? What are your plans as Ethereum Proof of Stake gets closer over the summer?
I started throwing 4gb Polaris cards at ETC in January and caught the pump in March. Looking forward to the future of ETC, it could be interesting if dapps that prefer the PoW structure migrate over.
And how long does it take to get it to USA ? 3-5 months?
I was wondering why don’t you just mine ETH and convert it to ETH classic !
Am I wrong in thinking if ETH mining is more profitable than ETC mining - does it not make more sense to mine to eth then exchange it for etc or have I gone wrong somewhere
just buy ETC instead of this machine
When ETH POW is done most of the hash power will come after the next profitable cryptos, making the ETH classic much less profitable, I think.
If Jasminer ASICs which mine ETH will start mining ETC, it will crash profitability immediately. I think, it will be the end of GPU mining, since other PoW cryptos with ASIC resistance is just too small to feed them.
eth leaving us .. etc halving in under a month ..not for me.. while everyone is fighting over etc blocks i have been doing very well with rvn blocks
Wish you luck!
rvn is tanked thats why. Etc got a potential which raven will never ever have.

One more month for X4-1U to mine ETH because of 5GB memory? I hope I'm wrong....
Can you change this miner from Eth Classic to ETH?
The only thing is: do you believe it can run 16 months (the time of pay-back at the moment) without issue ? It only cover "6 months non-human faults".
Only 5gb though, so gotta keep an eye on that Dag file.
Imagine getting one sent to you just to talk about it, man..
But great video. It was cool seeing the guts of it
Tell me about it
the website is inaccessible from other country ?
I wish you would have covered the cost of the unit. That would have been very helpful...

Best breakdown of the Jasminer yet, but I do want to see its heatsink removed! :)

I think there is one fan is less in the intake because it is to create a low pressure zone in the heat sink.
Price is based on revenue and not production cost I assume.
Its better to have more ex. then intake fans !!!
Are using 110v outlet ?
Yes
No direct air flow with plastic off either. Would be cooler then push pull fan setup
Wen restock? Wen lambo?
the last time i checked they have really low memory, like 6gb, is that still the case?
5gb, dag will pass it by august 22 even if eth 2.0 is delayed
