One question an investment advisor never answers is “ if I gave you $500K ten years ago what would the current value be?”. I get a few that say “this s the same portfolio my mother has.”
Most not all will not help you if you don’t have a large account. They want to get their hands on that money. Never take advice from someone who has there hand in your wallet!
Not needed. Do your own research. Lots of articles and forums from people who also just figured it out themselves. Rule 1 for beginners is don’t be intimidated by the stock market. It’s not as complicated as analysts, advisors make it out to be. You can literally just invest in an ETF that tracks the S&P 500 and grow wealth from that. If your job offers a 401k you should at minimum be putting up a percentage of your paycheck to max your company match. It’s free money.
