    Salve Tom ho una curiosità, le visiere e gli interni di ricambio sono prodotti dalla Sena ? oppure sono compatibili quelli di altre marche di caschi ?

      Ciao, per quanto ne so Sena produce visiere sostitutive e parti interne ma pochi posti le vendono, devi andare direttamente a Sena. Spero che aiuti!

      It's...OK. But I have to admit I have to have the lower vent open to stop the inside getting wet.

    Pls give a tutorial on how to connect to wifi

      Hi mate, it's a right pain but once you've done it, it will remember your wifi and just update whenever you have the helmet on charge and open the app. If you go to the Sena website they have a proper user manual which gives all the instructions.

    How long does the battery on the helmet last?

    • @thomascharnock
      @thomascharnock  10 месяцев назад +1

      I charge the helmet up every now and then, and it seems to always be at 100% - I'd say I've plugged it in about 3 times since I bought it a few months ago so the battery life is really very good. Hope that helps!

      @@thomascharnockthanks. As long as it will last an 8 hour day of riding.
      Is there a lot of wind noise coming through that you can barely hear your music or calls?

      @@davidsixside769 No the sound is perfectly fine, the volume increses with wind noise. You'll have no issues

      Hey, I still use my Sena daily - it's a superb helment. The built-in comms are fantastic, I couldn't imagine going back to a helmet without them just built in as standard. I mainly use the connectivity to listen to podcasts when I ride long distances, but I also use it to answer calls when I'm on the road and people who I'm speaking to don't even realise I'm on a bike, speaking from inside a helmet, as the audio is so clear (so they tell me). The battery seems to last several weeks between charges, too. The only thing is that the standard visor isn't pinlock enabled, so I've had to stick a cheap fake one on the inside (got it from Amazon) but it seems to work OK. I need to buy a pinlock one from the Sena website sooner or later, but that can wait. I would happily say it's one of the best helmets I've owned, but I haven't ever used a 'prestige' helmet like a SHOEI to compare it to, so I can't compare it so something like that. I'm happy with it though.

    is it noisy?

    • @thomascharnock
      @thomascharnock  7 месяцев назад +1

      No, not really. If you have the music on the volume increases with the external noise, but if you have the audio stuff just turned off it's pretty average in the road noise area. It's worth noting that the air does rush in under the sides if you tilt your head up, so it's best to try to angle your head slightly down when at speaad to keep the air out and noise down. Hope that helps.

      I'm considering the Stryker over the impulse for that same question. Everyone says the audio is fantastic but the impulse gets negative reviews on external wind noise and buffering at higher speeds. Doesn't seem to be an issue with the Stryker? It's not modular like the impulse and also seems that maybe the 3 buttons being placed more to the back on the Stryker instead of right in the side of the impulse might make a difference? Thanks!
