Really good tips, since I do broadcast these are actually same kind of suggestions we give for people when they submit airchecks or radio reels. Put the best at first and make it 90 secs max.
I remember those days of show reels, when they used numatic and I used to be completely lost, so I got help editing my show reels back in the days 😄 Wow nice you use adobe 😍
Ah really? So glad it helps! To be honest it could apply for a lot of people who need video portfolios and showcasing their work! Thank you for watching!
I made mine in Adobe photoshop - simple term - writing on one side and photo on the other. Maybe try canva for a simplified version! Hope that helps a bit
Oh wow. I had no idea this much went into acting. This is so interesting even with no personal interest in acting. Question though, would this same advice work if I wanted to get my child into modeling?
I’m glad it’s interesting and you enjoyed it! Yeah their can be tons of prep or none at all for some 😅😂 As far as I know, it’s better to have a portfolio of pictures of different styles and shots - I know a lot of people have them on a tablet to bring into castings. For online purposes, it’s always great to have the video montages from shoots; specially if it’s video filmed modelling and these tips still apply yes! But that all depends on the type of shoots they land. I’d say prioritise portfolio work first when starting out! :)
