No light output is fine if you thin the paint after it is cured to make small gaps in the paint to let the chrome reflect light but even if I didn’t do that you can order black housing headlights offline that don’t have any reflective material in them and work just fine as long as you have a good bulb👍
Recommended to hot glue those bulbs to the connector they are heavy and can rattle loose and fall into the headlights it's a pain to get them back out
