Catching Alaska Gold Halibut with Seafood Producers Cooperative (SPC)

Alaska Gold Seafood is caught by the fishermen-owners of Seafood Producers Cooperative (SPC), a fishermen-owned co-op based in Sitka, Alaska. SPC has been providing the finest wild-caught salmon, halibut, sablefish (black cod) and more since 1944. Here Captain Robert Bateman shows us what it's like to commercially fish for halibut in Alaska and what it's like being a fishermen-owner of SPC.
