- Quick Video Demonstrating how to change the Daytime Running Lights on a VW UP!. The Daytime Running lights and the Side Lights operate off the same dual filament bulb. The bulb type is a W21/5W which was code 580. I picked these up from my local Halford's store for £5.99 for the pair but obviously they are available elsewhere.

Great video - just what I needed.
If anyone had trouble getting the wires out, after you pull out the red clip with the screwdriver you need to press in the black thingy inside of the red clip area to release the wire box. It’s not obvious in the video and it took me an extra fifteen mins trying to get it out so I thought I’d write a comment to help anyone else having trouble out. 😂🤣 Otherwise, great video man, thanks! ☺️👍

Dimension of this product ???
My 2012 Up's drivers side headlight is so dim. Does anyone know how to fix this? I replaced the bulb, but it didnt get brighter. I hear the headlight earth might be the problem, but dont know where it is located. I had a look at the fuse box and I cant see any broken fuses. I checked all the 10 amp fuses only, as I understand it, the headlights are on 10 amp fuses.
I had also checked the harness where the bulb plugs in and it looks good to me. no corrosion or dirt moisture etc.
Are these bright white or yellow?
They do seem to blow a lot especially the near side for some reason
Why you using a two filament bulb?
Why does the manufacturer say that they are pure white bulbs if it is a lie?
