  • the twin filament day time running light / side light bulbs going on these cars are common, youll notice that usually one is always off on most cars
    its a simple process, twist and pull the bulb holder out, pull out the capsule bulb, press fit the new bulb and position the bulb holder back into place and voila
    the bulb is a 580 bulb

    I only wish my Skoda spaceback was this easy, I have to disconnect battery and other things to change a DRL it's pathetic, Nice vlog.

    You can get an ultralife version from Osram. I think mine have been in about 6 years now. It's best if you can wear gloves to push them in as the oil from your fingers degrades them

    Many thanks. And yes, even tiny amount of grease from fingers will affect the temp of the glass bulb.

    Many thanks.Good to know its a quite Common fault.I have got a Problem with the rear headlight not working.The whole headlight and bulbs got changed.Somehow before the change it was a bit condensation inside.Now after the replacement its still not working.Maybe a contact or a faulty cable?
    Thank you

      Glad you liked the video. I had an issue like this before. There was a break in the metal circuit things on the plastic bulb holder. I soldiered it close with a small peice of wire. No idea how it broek in the first place but got it working. Can ask someone else to have a look or could replace the tail light bulb holder part. Hope this helps. Thanks

    Is the DRL and sidelight the same or different bulbs in a Skoda citi go?

    • @19hmxd
      @19hmxd  Год назад

      This 580 bulb is a twin fillament. It does the side light and DRL on one bulb. Same as the skoda citigo ☺️

    Can you pls make a video of air filter change without moving the whole contraption first. Is it even possible?

    • @19hmxd
      @19hmxd  Год назад

      ruclips.net/video/3UgstYp6wZE/видео.html here a video ive already made, you have to atleast lift the airbox up and out even if you leave the oil hose connected, only as you need to undo those screw bolts which you cant access as theyre under the scuttle tray so yeah you do need to remove the airbox unit to some extent!

    I have a question for anyone who knows....I just bought a used Mii and realised that parking lights stay on when head lamp turns on. Is that normal? Shouldn't be parking lights be off when low beam is on or am I mistaken??

    • @19hmxd
      @19hmxd  Год назад

      The side lights will stay on while dipped / main beams are on. This is the case is many cars. Well especially the ones ive had anyway😅
