The sand he controlled out of his gourd was mixed with blood and blood has iron in it therefore it would make it possible for him to control that sand if it was mixed with iron. But some types of sand also have iron mixed in it naturally and that could be what he’s using.

It doesn't make sense to bring chakra natures there because that means that every special ability related to a clan is used with a combo of chakras, like Shino's. It should have been a simple and rare talent that goes off the charts, like in the begining, which would have made the concepts of ''protecting your clan's jutsus'' and ''destroying the body of the fallen'' way more coherent and powerful. Sharingan users cant predict the future. When kakashi did that against zabuza that was him using genjutsu to influence zabuza to use the same jutsu as kakashi at the same time, making zabuza think kakashi could predict the future.
they cant predict the future but they can tell what your ganna do while your doing it, for example when sasuke started using sharingan vs naruto he said something like "this is amazing, i know everything hes ganna do"

He doesnt need to be reanimated. If a tailed beast dies, they are reincarnated once their chakra gathers. That was stated somewhere, but I forgot where.

Just wanna add a small comment about the video. First thing, the Kurama clan is not named after the nine tails per se, bc nobody ever asked Kurama its name. Son Goku confirms that when he first met Naruto. Other than that, the video was amazing, great energy, well explained, etc.
Technically isn’t the Kekkei Genkai the blood flowing throughout the body or bodies of the person or clan members where the jutsu or visual prowess originated. Isn’t that why when referring to Kakashi we say that he possesses the Sharingan but not the Uchiha Kekkei Genkai which is why he can’t use his visual prowess as effectively as an Uchiha and that it’s also why he can’t deactivate his eye at will
You also forgot the shadow possession kekei genkai and the yamanaka thing. I am sure there are others but those are just off the top o my head. Fun video none the less

Mud release is actually inherited by people that take laxitives. It is not exclusively a shinobi feat.
I mastered gas release .. but I have to drink certain drinks to build enough gas chakra. Most mexican have this kekkai genkai natively.

Garra didn't get his sand from shukaku, it was his mother's sand release. We learn this during the 4th war when he talks with his reincarnated dad

His mud wall, and to the point of it sharing the same elements as wood, what if mud release is just the way more common combination and wood release is the odd ball, i mean woo release is supposed to be super rare only being done by Hashirama, and then everyone else because of his cells

I just want to say the kotsumatsukame does not close shisui’s eye for ten years only the transplanted kotsumatsukame does that as in the anime shisui uses kotsumatsukame and his eye is not closed. Sharingan users cant predict the future. When kakashi did that against zabuza that was him using genjutsu to influence zabuza to use the same jutsu as kakashi at the same time, making zabuza think kakashi could predict the future.
they cant predict the future but they can tell what your ganna do while your doing it, for example when sasuke started using sharingan vs naruto he said something like "this is amazing, i know everything hes ganna do"

Could still release be a earth and yang release? Earth providing access to the iron, and yang energy allowing it to be enhanced into steel and given shape? Same with typhoon release, couldn't it just be wind release combined with Yang release to give it more force? I honestly do not know, can KeKei genkai only be two nature energies combined? It seems to me like combining nature and yin/yang energy opens up a plethora more options and explanations. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if we really thought about it that were the case kekei tota might actually be most of what we thought were kekei genkai. Just wanna add a small comment about the video. First thing, the Kurama clan is not named after the nine tails per se, bc nobody ever asked Kurama its name. Son Goku confirms that when he first met Naruto. Other than that, the video was amazing, great energy, well explained, etc.

Technically isn’t the Kekkei Genkai the blood flowing throughout the body or bodies of the person or clan members where the jutsu or visual prowess originated.
Isn’t that why when referring to Kakashi we say that he possesses the Sharingan but not the Uchiha Kekkei Genkai which is why he can’t use his visual prowess as effectively as an Uchiha and that it’s also why he can’t deactivate his eye at will

Didn't Hiruzen use mud release in his battle against Orochimaru, I distinctively recall seeing it on the roof they battled on, he even used a mud dragon jutsu which he combined with fire style
Mud jutsu was used by Sarutobi and Orochimaru when the sound invaded the village during the chunin exam finals.
Another reason why magnet release would be used for sand is the opposite, I always assumed that it was sand manipulation that evolved into magnet release, at least when you apply electric chakra to the jitsu that already allowed you to manipulate sand
