What I like about your videos more than other channels is that we get to see your thought processes, the step by step build and great humorous monologue. I get way more ideas for my own builds by seeing and hearing your ideas than a speed build or quick assembly or “look what I built off screen”. Keep up they great work! You are excellent at creating stories and visual humor.
3:28 And that's one of several reasons I build 8-wide trains, specifically I build to the scale of 8 studs=10 feet, give or take a couple inches, plus a bit extra for details sticking out the side like handrails and ladders. The other reasons are that the larger trains just look more in-scale with minifigs and 6-wide cars, they look more impressive, and the increased size allows me to make them much more detailed than is possible with 6-wide trains, at the cost of increased part count, wider clearance requirements, (especially on the inside of curves, passenger cars be really long) and the awkwardness of running the Lego City trains, which I don't care about anyway. I'd love to get 2 Orient Express sets though, rebuild the interior of the cars from one set, and use the parts from both locomotives plus some of my own parts to build a much better, fully motorized locomotive, but that's a hefty expense I can't spare right now, unfortunately
That is an amazingly tight fit. Packed and Stacked, spared no expense. I have been recently stumbling onto the amazing figures in the Ultra Agent series so I am quite fascinated with this build. Nicely done.
I like the bike being next to the doors, I'd like to think that the doors can open and the 'L shaped' axle would function as a crane to pivot the bike out through the doors so it can take off (possibly even when the train was moving)
With the gunner what about a platform that swings out with gunner and the gun. (I.e. the new Ghostbusters movie with the kids. The ghost capture chair/controls slide out of the ambulance while it is driving. If you haven't seen it yet).
If you get more train parts like this and build a flat fronted cab you could have a sprinter type train to pull this around the city. Just 2 components one being the power source and possibly more space for ultra agents and the other for the hq.
This looks freaking awesome! Love it. Very clever mechanism. Maybe the new city could have a hidden Ultra Agents base/lab where you could have a lab and use those green tube pieces..
i can see this being expanded in the future...... a mail train consisting of 3 carriages with it's own engine. The last carriage could be a garage for the hover bikes with a door on the back so they can fly out.
Half baggage cars are a thing in real life. As such, I suggest that you convert one of the standard passenger cars to a half passenger/half baggage car to have run with the train consist.
No doubt but the fat trains I get to London don't have one at all. Since there isn't space for one on the white train I'll add a new one to the Eurostar train instead!
An amazing build as always! In regard to the ladder idea, what about long 2 wide plate piece on a small turntable and hinge that goes over the top in train car mode to create a more seamless connection between each side of the roof but then swings 90 degrees and hinges down to create a ramp/walkway up to the second floor? And it would keep it within the play feature aesthetic, without the need to add/remove pieces when you want to convert it between base and train car!
I think some more "hidden" cars to go with this one that can be with this one' to help it blend in would look really good. Plus the cover story of the cars could be something like "the are extra cars for if the train needs them" would be nice and some what realistic
Very VERY awesome! Suggestions to a very awesome build: give boss man a walkie talkie piece. I'm not sure if you have pieces spare, to keep things symmetrical, place white hinge pieces on the side that doesn't open (it could suggest that in some instances, it could open the other way or something). It also seems if you shuffle to doors a bit you could hide the grey technique piece. I'm not sure if you ever visit exhibitions with your stuff, but I would suggest even having a loose piece to fit over the middle roof section - then you run the full high-speed train and later, you have it parked in a siding with the middel roof popped off and everything transformed. This is truly one of my favourites of your builds!
Oh, well done Robin! That build turned out beautifully. It will make an excellent addition to BrickNottingham. Could you mount a ladder piece on the outside of the train wagon to access the top in its folded out position? On the back of the car perhaps? It would differentiate it from the other cars, but would solve your access problem without crowding the inside. Tbh, I think you could get away with no access as it’s reminiscent of original Lego builds, and it’s just such a good design.
I think that's why I missed it off. So many LEGO sets, quite rightly, don't worry about access to all areas as minifigures are so good at jumping, haha!
Love the new build. My little tea drinker thinks the agent with his tie open should have a red tea mug showing he has had a busy day as he stands next to his sky bike. I was thinking that being a great Ultra Agent they must have huver tech that moves them up and down so no ladder but maybe some platform that slides out from the underside. Just an idea.. thanks for a great video and fantastic build.
I just love your creativity, Robin! I think you're onto something with your idea for a rope ladder of some sort. Or ... something akin to a Batpole, perhaps, for getting down from their perch? Maybe a telescoping something-or-other?
Love the build cazzy idea popped in after watching this would we a hidden agents station, using your two levels put a shop like a donut 🍩 shop or barbershop on street level with a elevator that goes to the subway level with a huge top secret base Keep the builds coming can't wait to see the full city come to gather
Absolutely amazing 😃 How about a sticker with a ladder or don't some of the old white 2x1 space bricks come with 3 black stripes on them? If so, you could mount a couple of them on top of each other in stead of the regular white wall between the hovercraft and the baddie-storage.
Love this build. I wondered it you could have put one of your dome carriage roofs on it to give you room and added disguise. My other thought for the two trans green pieces maybe put an alien mini fig inside( like liquid tank.) hope some of that makes sense. 😂
Suggestion, doors on the ends hinge on the opposite side so they don't block off the views. Also could have some modified clips for weapon mounts on the insides of the doors.
How can you slander the good name and work of the Super-Secret Police!!?? If it wasn't for them, BrickNottingHam would be overrun with old people, dog Walkers and redheads!!!
"accidentally collected", yeah, right. great build sir once again, though I can't help but think there's some opportunity with those studs under the "bike", be it for an unfortunate fuel spill or some additional storage of cool stuff.
Fantastic build. Not sure what you could add, except perhaps a coffee machine. Thanks for the robot dogs I have to build now, and especially the vehicles. Serious Centurions(Ionionions) vibes to the boatcar. As to a name for the bike...trains... unidentified flying...riding..."The Black Knight?" Bit too Marvel, maybe. "Deploy the Black Knight!" Hrm. "Ultrabike?" "Bluebottle?" "Spy-Fly" or "Fly-Spy?" Something like that.
I think there was once a Lego string piece with bits you could use those Lego droid arms to connect them together and make a sort of collapsible rope ladder.
This is Awesome if i may suggest Convert one of your coaches into a combine car so you can continue to carry baggage. Also you should have a 1x1 with a tile that says "Not to Be Moved" so crews dont use the coach
One thing i would have done differently is having the end doors open the other direction. That way the doors don't block the view of the center section, which is the focal point.
Yay train and ultra agents video! Good to do a goodie base now as I heard Dr Inferno is going to update his mech in his new warehouse and do more as someone (you) destroyed the city before him. 🤣 That’s a super cool built! I like the bike and everything inside. When it is closed down it looks more similar than I thought it would!👍 Yes add more stickers. How they get to other lever is jump as they are agents or maybe use their jetpacks?🤔 Oooo an SSP helicopter already planned! Will it ever take off?😃 JJ F
I've just finished the SSP helicopter. It was mainly a colour change and sticker moving session. It doesn't feel enough for a video so it'll probably appear on the next Brick Haul, unless I combine a few smaller builds!
You're using part 2817 for the hinge, but part 2444/10247 may also be fine, and is much more widely available in white. Though I have to say the grey is rather nice as well.
i have two ideas for the UltraAgents base you've made. You could make a 'frozen' version of Caila Phoenix inside the little pod as a sort of recuperation/storage pod alongside flipping the two full trans-light blue screens to have the one with the vitals look like it's monitoring said storage pod. Awesome video Robin and I can't wait to see what you do next with the UltraAgents in Brick-Nottingham V2. Kind regards and happy Badoings - Elias

Interesting. Thanks. I was considering actual complex circuitry for one future build but I'm still not sure. It's not LEGO really but I do like a good circuit and the smell of solder!
You could make an accompanying missile/satellite launching wagon for quick orbital surveillance if needed. Like the ones america russia designed/build during the cold war.

Couldn't agree more, they're awesome figures. Yes there's no wasted space inside this at all!
A very creative design for sure, great idea to make use of a City set style effect! Congrats for finally crossing off a project from the list! :D
I like the bike being next to the doors, I'd like to think that the doors can open and the 'L shaped' axle would function as a crane to pivot the bike out through the doors so it can take off (possibly even when the train was moving)
Yes, this sounds good!
I was thinking the same thing with deploying the bike. If possible the back wall hinges down and makes auto-bike ramp of some sort. Great build.
With the gunner what about a platform that swings out with gunner and the gun. (I.e. the new Ghostbusters movie with the kids. The ghost capture chair/controls slide out of the ambulance while it is driving. If you haven't seen it yet).

More trains!!!
How dare you lie about the SSP! They do amazing work in taking down dog walkers, old people, and people who wear striped sweaters in July!
Maybe the weapons only stun, then they load them into the tank, repairing the damage and making them good, then releasing them?
Important work indeed!
Those dog walkers work for peta
Great build sir, another instant classic and very enjoyable video!

The first Robin Hood Bricks video I saw was building this one, I’ve been here ever since and this brings back so many memories!
Thanks for sticking around!

Hmmm kinda looks like a secret base then, no?!
Very VERY awesome! Suggestions to a very awesome build: give boss man a walkie talkie piece. It might be too lumpy for a temporary roof on top but I'm so glad you enjoyed the build!
Excellent build today, Robin! I really like the containment unit, and the hanging jet bike was pure genius. Thanks ?😊
Yay, great to hear. Yes, it was a proper RHB build!
Oh, well done Robin! That build turned out beautifully. It will make an excellent addition to BrickNottingham. Yeah I'm using them for a cargo themed wagon that I'm buying for at the moment!
Absolutely amazing 😃 How about a sticker with a ladder or don't some of the old white 2x1 space bricks come with 3 black stripes on them? If so, you could mount a couple of them on top of each other in stead of the regular white wall between the hovercraft and the baddie-storage.

Suggestion, doors on the ends hinge on the opposite side so they don't block off the views. Also could have some modified clips for weapon mounts on the insides of the doors.

That's a great project, very impressive!
You could put a baggage car on the cargo train since the actual bagage needs to be transported somehow 😄
I think there's a few boxcars already. They'll do!
"accidentally collected", yeah, right.
great build sir once again, though I can't help but think there's some opportunity with those studs under the "bike", be it for an unfortunate fuel spill or some additional storage of cool stuff.

I would add another sticker on a tile under the flyer in the train on the floor to get a little more detail in. Maybe an ultra agent logo or two?

Yeah, this is what came here to say (but you beat me to it.) It's a cool build but those doors do look a bit clunky.

That's gotta be one of the coolest and most complex train car builds from your city. Really well done!
Just please, get rid of that antenna.😅
I like it, haha. It's the ball joint. It's too tight!
You are quite a clever chap!
Many thanks. It was a fun build, but quite technical in places!
Reminds me of an ultra modern version of the train car used by Jim West in the Wild Wild West TV show. It had internal gadgets galore.
I never really got into that show!
@@RobinHoodBricks I loved it. High tech wild west.

You're using part 2817 for the hinge, but part 2444/10247 may also be fine, and is much more widely available in white. Though I have to say the grey is rather nice as well.
I had a lot of the parts but neither of those in white. I think I went with grey because I only needed the 4x8 inverted tile!
It looks awesome Robin!
That's one siding populated!
That is really well done!
Hey thanks!
They all have jetpacks, I don't think they need a ladder :)
Weirdly the only people actually up there are the only ones without jetpacks, haha!
He's back 🎉🎉🎉
Awesome project and you took me back with my childhood...ultra agents wow...

They're a good looking bunch so worth including. Thanks, Elias!
Awesome build! Could you have the jetpack and tron flyer tailing a baddie train car?
Thanks for another great video!!!
Cool idea but I'm not attaching them to my cargo train, haha. That's already very hard to run successfully!
@@RobinHoodBricks haha, very understandable!!
the short grill/jail bar window piece with some clips probably could fit going up from the bottom?
Of course. And I have some so that's a great idea, if it'll fit anywhere in closed position!

Thanks again!
Great job
Cheers, Sam!
I’m a bit worried for your badies !! They need their own secret postal service train car .. may be hidding some huge big gun .. lets star some rail war !! 😂
As always you did an amazing work with your building 👏
They have a lot of kit too. There's a lot not even deployed as well. Thank you!
Absolutely brilliant! The boss or chief needs a cuppa.
The 1-hole version of that 2x2 piece is cheap in white, I think? 10247. And there are of course shorter axles (or 39888) to connect.
I think I had neither parts in white and by the time I had it designed in grey I quite liked it. It'll be open anyway in the city!
The modified plate has a different variation that is quite common in white, part number 2444, also existing in a newer variation.
Yeah I had neither in white and quite like grey now!
well, I'm very impressed with your abilities so I think you should be too!
As for the dog's sniffing the other's bottom... I think it would be a natural place to have a scanner and to check the nose print of the other dogs to check they are not fakes and that they have clearance for the info/task at hand. those villains have probably tried to make fake dogs in the past!

this train wagon needs a confused mail men that wanted to put mail in the wagon
Haha, yes. Where is the 15.37 mail wagon?!
I thought the alien cantina was the longest awaited build
It probably is now!

Is that a thing? I can only find pictures of model railway ones that don't look very real. Sounds fun!
When is the B-unit coming to the hidden side train moc?
B-units seem a bit too plain for my tastes!
Buy that mobile police HQ, scrap the police part, add a trailer and make it Ultra.
The fun thing about this one is it's hidden!
