A true gentleman. First read his People Like Us in 1989. Then everything I could get my hands on from novels to Vanity Fair. He was articulate, kind, astute, and a true gentle reminder of honesty and dare I say, class. A gentleman.

I picked up this book from a giant stack at CostCo with a discount sticker on the cover, shared a big laugh with my best friend, and tossed the book atop my groceries. I still have it.

I must say, Dominick Dunne is a fantastic writer, and as the innovator relays Dominic Dunne creates himself.

Mr. Dunne, I loved your book--especially the chapter of Roddy's Sunday parties--wish I'd been there--such chic and fun--with hot dogs and beer--no diamonds or furs! yeah! (and the stars appreciated relaxing, I'm sure, thank you Roddy). I also thank you for your candor about your breakdown and splitting to Oregon to find yourself. That took courage.

Yes I enjoyed reading his autobiography so much... he is such a wonderful writer... very real and not a phony ...he doesn't sugarcoat anything.
I talk as if he still alive.. it is a shame he did not live longer.

Pretty much unwatchable because of the interviewer. She should've let him speak already! He was such a great man..
