Your support means the world to me! Thank you for joining me on this journey.
Shut the fan on your ceiling when using a/c. You want to trap the cold air in the van. No windows open at all. This will help! Good job on the install,.your van looks really nice.
Hello I just want to say make all your windows dark where no sunlight can come through to make cooler ok safe and cool peace and blessings to you ❤
Your definitely gonna have to do an update on this cause I was researching for ac for a van but you got to have a better way to power it cause I'm only using a power station too and from what I saw it only last a couple hours before it's drained
@sandybeebee6511 Invest in solar panels to power your ac, etc.
If you get an insulated exhaust hose , it will cool your van down faster and to a lower temperature . There is a lot of heat that radiates from that hose, which makes the ac work harder
Dang that’s brilliant and you’re right.
so glad you got an a/c unit. TX heat is no joke.
I have one of those, they work great!! Cool off my bedroom perfectly. Also make sure you have a bucket or something to catch water from that skinny hose, sometimes water will drain. I learned the hard way.
ooops i just wrote that to her, for sure she will need something to catch the water drip.
AAAAYYYEEEEE !!!!!! New ac who dis. I'm so happy that you can be cool and comfortable through this hot summer
Keep safe, hydrated, and cool.😊
I think you might still need to get van properly insulated thou, One Love!
Hello. I have the same type of air conditioner. The tubing puts out a lot of heat. I cover up the tubing with lightweight clothes. It helps.
Thanks for the tip. I just realized how hot it can get
Gurl you are not playing. You got the biggon for your van. It should be like an ice box in there now.
Very "cool"! Do yourself a favor and buy a hepa hvac filter at home depot etc and pre-filter the air intake. Your unit will stay much cleaner, more efficient and last longer. The filters that come with those allow too many dust particles in over time. Happy trails:)
I think you need to make some installation window covers that fit in your windows the front windows, the back windows but also when you got your AC running, you don’t want your max fan open because it’s letting out the AC. You have been ventilation going outside so through the hose just a little useful in order for your AC to work the most effective
That's a nice Ac.
I'm so glad you had another battery to handle the load. It is very hot out there.
Just found your channel and subscribed
Turn it down to 62 or whatever the lowest number is so the temp can get more cooler🙂
You go girlfriend‼️I'm happy for you. Heat's no joke. I'm in AZ the desert area. It was 110° today & it's been like this for wks. I hope you have a solar panel on top of your vehicle because it's going to take quite a bit of energy to run your AC. Enjoy it‼️😀
Shout-out from Ohio. Stay cool. Have a blessed safe day
I'm sharing This video to some of my subscribers .I know they're interested. That's a great Looking unit😊😊😊
Thanks for sharing!!
I've got one in my van too, I wrapped reflex around the exhaust hose, and then a pretty lap blanket with bungie cord to hold. ❤😊
Good idea
😊 Congratulations on your new AC unit ....yayyyyyyy!!!!!🎉
Happy Sunday everyone
🙏🏾😘👋🏿
Yay! So glad this worked out for you.
Yes Sis! Need that!👍🏽
Wow so cool ❤❤❤
YES! COOL AIR FOR YOU!!! Hope your staying dry! Much love 🫶🏿
Just a Fyi i got rid of that plastic exhaust hose went to ACE Hardware got a Dryer hose aluminum lot more flexable
how do you sleep there when its so loud running....you should get your self a Nomadic Cooling - X2 Air Conditioner - 12-Volt and its goes above your head with less noise ....and easier on the batteries ., might be little pricey but worth long run :)
❤❤
Yes finally! I am so happy for you.❤
Thank you!!!
Arii 👋🏿,
That A/C unit will come in handy because temperatures have been INSANE lately. I hope you had a fabulous birthday the other day. Stay cool out there, and make sure to stay hydrated. 🖤
#BeatTheHEAT🥵
Young lady you have to have a drain hose because it will start dripping on your floor, I have one in my bedroom and put a tall bucket to catch the dripping water that comes out.
Thanks for letting me know
@@Takingajourney_ awwwwwwww you're welcome I'll try to watch more of your content. Know it's not easy. Take care.
happy bday
I'm jealous lol❤❤
i came for that 2-minute outro screen pic tho
well the good thing is you never have to come back... look at God!
I'm hatin😅😂
If you learn how to use the energy, you can use a Breeze 2 and run it off a power bank for 24 hours. I tried it, and it works.
Cool video. Literally. 😁
I'm going to get one of these for my van. I saw that another vanlifer replaced the white exhaust hose it came with to a silver insulated one from home depot. He showed it cooled better. He showed that the white vent hose temp was 110 degrees that was radiating back in the van. The other vent was much cooler. How much power consumption and what size battery are you using?
so cute, instant sub
Yay, thank you!
Girl I’m so happy for you I had to subscribe! Whoo HOO! Beat that heat!
I’m Northern California and we just had 120 degrees - you know I’m feelin the success of beating the heat. 👏
120!? OMG stay safe in that heat. I thought I had it bad
Close everything up so the air conditioner can cool it down within 5 minutes.
Don’t open ceiling fan sis.
Curious how long could it run for on that power station?
I’m wondering the same thing because that portable a/c use so much power, but the one’s that are meant for camping are so expensive.
Adding my two cents. I have a Vtoman 1800 to run a 5,000 btu portable A/C. For me, it’s runs about 2 and change hours. It pulls between 800-900 watts. So, without backups, recharging is always the issue. 🚐😊
Cool ❤🎉❤
I keep thinking about getting one of these but I just don't know if I could figure it out and I would def need a bigger battery. I also wonder how it would work with my windows? Also, what kind of battery do I need? And how much power did it use from the battery overnight? I don't want any cracks letting bugs or any other critters in while sleeping or just hanging out during the day...got any advice about it? Please share if you do...thanks!
Sorry but unless she has better setup it's not practical. That AC unit is using ~500w give or take. That Bluetti AC70 only has a 864wh capacity. The power station will be out of juice in 1.5 hrs.
I don’t use it with the bluetti as shown in the video.
I must have missed it but was it revealed which brand/model of unit the AC is? 🤔
I cannot see clearly how you connected the hose to the outside…from the window. How is that vent hose frame connected to the window…is your window partially open? Does your window open from the bottom up? Did u cut a hole in the side of the van?
The window open from the bottom
Yesss love seeing black folks do van life! The algorithm doesn’t bring us up enough so its good to see! ❤ 🤘🏾 so jealous, but hopefully will be doing this soon!
Beautiful woman
Does it get cooler than the 80s after running a while? How long can it run on your battery?
Yes, it does. It can run between 4-6 hours depending on the speed.
I am just curious how much power it is taking because if my calculations are correct, it is only going to run for a few hours and then your power station is dead?
about 4-6 hours depending on the temp and speed I have it on
gurlll no u shoulda got some tea with us or something dis vid was toooo quick!!!!
How long can it run on your battery
between 4-6hrs depending on if it's on high or low
How long does the power bank run the a/c?
@@MrKingcruz I'm curious too
@Graymanvanlife lol I'm a semi truck driver. If it can run it for about 8 hrs or so, I will buy one
@@MrKingcruz also depends on charging time after that 8 hrs. Safe trucking. Thanks for hauling our stuff .
between 4-6 hrs
@Takingajourney_ how long does it take to recharge the power back? I'm looking to get one now that it last that long lol
Oh I don’t like those
LAME
yet you still took the time to watch and comment, how lame does that make you LMAO?? I'll wait......
I enjoy your content. Your my daughters age. Do you think you’ll ever go back to a dwelling to live…house, apartment, etc?? What if you want to get married with children would you still choose van life? A lot of families still do.
Also, are you on Instagram because I would love to follow you.
the ac so noisy in the vid
