There should be a nice video testing the IAT of both MST versions. I dont think the new one is worth the extra. If you ever get a test for both I would love to see the difference as I live in San Antonio, is plenty hot here.
Wow 270 degrees on stock? I have a jackson racing intercooler no oil cooler and i got to 255 degrees on a sunny day about 100 degrees outside, maybe i’ll look into an oil cooler as well
Hey Anthony. I’ve heard the bigger intercooler “upgrades” do help with heat a lot over multiple pulls, OTL one being the best value. But I’ve also heard that they will definitely increase turbo lag. Turbo lag already being one of my main gripes of the car, what do you think about that? Have you heard anything similar?
Are you still running the ebc pads? I’m currently looking to buy a dedicated street and track pad, for street i’m unsure maybe endless ssm or isweep is1500 and for track csg cp spec. Any recommendations?
I drove them back to back….supra was a little more powerful, but had crappy shifter and didn’t feel playful at all on road. Terrible driving view also.

I haven't heard about the turbo lag issues but at the same time I can understand why. I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the heads up.

Just cut to size. I also had to use my own 3M double sided tape because the one that it came with wasn't strong enough.

Currently yes, I am still on the EBC RP1. But I don't daily the car very much. But I don't really have an issue with them when driving around town.
