  • Born Carol Hirsch in Bethnal Green, London, Carol became Karol Keyes for 4 x soul orientated 45s on Columbia and Fontana between 1964-1967. The dawning of a new decade, Karol was launched as actress and singer Luan Peters, star of Hammer Studios, various 'sexploitation' low budget films and the never broadcast TV show, 'Go Girl' , cast as a go-go dancer. 'Crazy Annie' - a one off for RCA - was originally recorded by Evie Sands, a Chip Taylor song inspired by the Oscar winning movie, 'Midnight Cowboy'.

She was an attractive woman. Very alluring. Hard to believe time flew by so quickly and suddenly she was 71 years old and died. Time waits for no one...

She also Replaced Tina Charles In 5000 Volts. She did the TV Performances Miming for "I'm On Fire" as Tina was deemed to Fat to appear by the BBC. But Tina got Her own back having Hits of Her own so they had to let Her on. Which was strange as Tina was a Regular on the Two Ronnie's doing covers, A BBC Program as well. Many thanks for this Rarity Damaged but Irreplaceable.
