hello sir I fallow you video 100% but my gsm900A still blinking ..continually ...and Cant work with your tutorial ..could tell me what to do..
may be sim900A module hardward problem, change the other to test it. Or anyone got idea?

This is due to you didnt include fona library inside your arduino IDE, you may search how to include library into arduino ide. After that, should be okay. thanks

Hi sir please help us! We use the sent sms only so we delete call and hangup in the code. But, the code states that "serial port not selected". Why?
i think your arduino port didnt select correctly, try select it correctly under the (sketch --> port)

Hi this project is very well......but there you used 9v 2A adapter right.....but can I use 12V 2A adapter and step down the voltage to 5V?????

In datasheet states that 3.7v - 4.5v only for sim900a is that 5v safe for sim900a
@@AugustineArulrajF sim900a is around 3.7 to 4.5V, but module can be 5V no problem, here was tested

Do I really need Dc-DC converter for my GSM module? It can already receive, send sms and call without DC/DC converter.
the gsm need at least 2A. better use dc-dc step down. in some case, it can just work without dc dc module, but sometime error
why do u need two power supplies? i tried it once and my arduino got broken'

I use sim900a with PS 5v 2amper but the led is blinking 1second, and the network can't get the signal. Please help .?
you may try to go outdoor, may be signal is weak in your house.

you can try check your simcard connector connectivity, sometime, the connectivity is bad

hi, i can do for you the code, but the code is quite big, i will charge USD100 for coding
1. need keypad to enter the phone number
2. phone number will store in eeprom in arduino

Why need single channel 5v relay module? What happen if not use it?
it just demo using sms can on and off relay

i do not have (DC-DC cinverter) to connect between sim900a and arduino what i can do ?
you can use external 5v minimum 2A supply instead

@@kstar9530 like using your phone charger or other DC adapter 5V with minumum 2A. You need to cut the wire and solder it to your module or buy a connector

Is it a must to do the step down module?
better to have step down module to stable voltage, but can by pass by using 5v 2A battery or adapter

@@mybotic_tech for the sim card, is it need to use my own handphone number sim card? But what if I remove the sim card from the phone, could it still receive notification?
if you using 5v 2A adapter, it just connect to sim900 module
the adruino power seat connector, input voltage is 7v to 12v, 5v unable to use
