Maaaaan was smiling along with you the whole time as you explored the plugin. I know many of those presets so well but they are just so different depending what you feed into them. Really cool idea to use one Transit for vibe and another as the actual transition. Track sounds sick too. Thanks for making this great video!
Thanks so much man, glad you liked it! Been watching your videos since forever, it means a lot 🙏 and congrats you killed it, great job with this monster plug-in!
and also for Mr habit when you put transit on the whole mix you can use the mix down at the bottom left to leave some of your original track in their.... Also Andrew... would be cool to see a way to have transit and a full mix low or high pass filter in the future also... great plugin!
@@RabbitintheMoon yoooo. you guys were some of the earliest electronica i ever listened to. love to see you still doing your thing. i'm not sure the exact use case you're referring to here but i think transit can probably do it, we got high and low pass filters plus a dry wet mix at both the individual effect and the plugin level.
@@andrewhuang he nice man,, loving your videos! and now your plugin.... but yeah.. at the bottom is the wet dry...but I'm not seeing a high low pass on the overall mix that you could use in conjunction with the wet dry... but I see now you can just a filter 12 and use that at the end of the chain.... carry on!
Workflow is something that I appreciate; this plugin really speeds it up. It's a great concept that's very useful Even using it for the effects is a bonus. Baby Audio x Andrew killed it with this one
i bought this plugin specifically for when I get better at ableton or go back to FL. I mostly use my MPC live 2 these days, and I can use the plugin on the audio tracks if I run it through the MPC 2 software on PC, I think when I get my 3 month winter vacation I'm going to cram an ableton master class or something in while I can because even though I am mostly DAW-less, the ability to multi track into a DAW from my dawless equipment would be worth it right there. This plugin really is crazy though, ive used it for vocal effects and guitar effects.
Amazing, so glad to help! That sounds like a great plan. If you're interested in a masterclass I have one out on Studio, check the link in the description and you'll find it 😁
it's interesting that you confused dry/wet with transition control at the beginning. technically they are extremely different. dry/wet mixes the effect's output with the dry input signal in parallel, but transition control is a macro that is applied to all parameters on the wet signal only. but musically they are really close to each other because both controls can be used to transition from some sound to a vastly different sound
Not confused but I def missaid it, cause I then explained the concept of macros lol. It probably happened because I kinda like to think of it as my dry/wet even if it’s different like you said, because I’ll hardly use the real dry/wet unless I wanna attenuate the overall mix, I’d say they complement each other well! Good catch! 👌😉
@@badhabit oh sry. i thought confuse smth with smth else was the right term but i think it's mixing up. english is not my mother language and it sometimes shows
@@juhxofficial i just wanted to make sure my choice of words doesn't come off as disrespectful. i totally saw that he knows the difference between drywet and macros. it's just interesting how similiar these features are musically despite being so different technically
Very inspiring plugin and a great beat! Did you notice the dry/wet in the down left corner? You seem to keep it at 100%. The transitions you made were awesome, but some a bit much, so that’s an easy way to make it more subtle! Bought this today immediately🔥
What a great video as always! Do you think this plug-in can be used for mixing automation effectively? I mean automating levels and different effects along the way?
I dont get it, am i having a stroke, is this not just a processing chain with a dry/wet control? lmao, like you can do all this in Ableton without this plug in, easily, or is that the catch its made to separate a fool from his money. I have seen nothing here that you cant just do easily without spending 60 bucks. I dont see ANY reason to be excited about this.
It’s okay you don’t have to be excited, just don’t buy it! Personally, I am, because this will be inspiring my creativity - presets are great. Of course I can do the same things in ableton and I say it in the video, I will keep doing it on my own, plus I will use this plug-in for easy ideas, presets and more inspo! 😁
You can do it in Ableton but then you'd have to set up your own racks, deal with multiple automation lanes and obviously first know how to do transitions. This plug-in just abstracts all of that away for you. Really don't see what's so difficult to understand, it's convenient.
Lmao literally made the same thing in ableton in 10 mins, and now i have it forever, no money needed. like why would anyone want to know how to do any of that right? It's a cash grab? oh noo multiple automation lanes, booooooooo, you know theres a trick for that, but maybe you wouldnt know that, too busy creating awesome transitions with your plugin, it is convenient though, for those selling it. Look, im a strong advocate for learning, and i strongly dislike it when people try to capitalize or take advantage of people who dont know better. Why Not make videos showing how to do all this without the plugin, save people money with knowledge and growth instead of hindering their growth and wasting their money, any one serious would have to learn all that stuff anyways, lack of knowledge is never a convenience guy
@@meteorheartofficial Mate this can't be the first time you've heard of abstractions being sold for money. People like things that are easy to use and have a nice looking UI.
