Proud to say my Ensign daughter is at the helm.

The Reliance class WMEC cutters have an angular, brutish beauty to them. This was an awesome reference video for the 1/350 and 1/700 Model kits I am working to produce!

Isn’t the Active due to be decommissioned? I thought I read that somewhere as it was the oldest ship in USCG service.

4th of the class, commissioned 1966. Will be decommed in the next 5-7 years as the new Heritage Class are built.

210's don't belong on the west coast. Remember with the Confidence was out of Kodiak and Resolute out of Portland. They can handle the weather but ALPATS are more for 378's and now, the 378 replacements. However, seeing the 210's and 270's are being replace with a 300ft+ cutter, all I can say, it's about time.
