The "Cryochamber" isnt a new concept, Thermaltake had their Core WP100/200 series about 5-6 years ago which was the same concept of seperating watercooling in a seperate chassis they called a Pedestal. In that design it was below the main chassis and extracted out the sides, so you could still have cooling fans on the Top.
Facts people have been mounting radiators outside of their pcs for over 10+ years.
So HP did actually make a pre-built pc with good cooling, 4 sticks of ram, good and thoughtful cable management??? What parallel universe am i in now @@

don't worry. motherboard doesnt allow any XMP profiles. only standard JEDECs specs.
@@Abteilol HP released an update, so now there is actually XMP profiles available.
Tbh, I think this might be the best pre-built PC available rn. The price is also not too shabby.
7:20 "I've never seen anything like this" ... Yeah well... External radiators was the shizzle back in the day and this is literally the same thing, they just glued it on top of the chassis. Looks cool though. :D

I have an omen 30l from a year or 2 ago. Its actually a really nice prebuilt. Aside from the proprietary motherboard and sometimes questionable configurations like a single stick of ram in a ryzen build

Solid front panel with small channels on the side always results in poor air flow. Combined with no top exhaust and a single rear exhaust, that RTX card is going to cook.
I was just thinking about that as well... It would've been better to have another exhaust fan on the top, and instead of 3 on the front just have 2. That's how my PC is atm, and the temperature is really nice, even more so considering the fact that my room is like an oven sometimes

As someone who had to have an Omen by HP replaced and then have the replacement, replaced due to CPU heating issues this is cool to see that they realized the problem and addressed it.
i had a similar issue with my graphics card put it wasn’t cooling the gpu was broken and the psu was unstable so i just replaced it with a different pc
they addressed an issue that they created themselves lmao

I wouldl ove to see some benchmarks on the cooling. It looks very well but factory thermal past is always bad and maybe other parts, such as the pump, aren't that great as well. if all the parts are up to par, it seems like HP did a great job. If it doesn't compare to the top AIO liquid coolers on the market, then why buy it...
There is no cooling in that case. None whatsoever. It has zero airflow.
@@NinjAsylum Probably. The front doesn't seem to have a large enough opening for intake and a single exhaust fan in the back probably can't export the hot air out fast enough. Probably a hot pocket of hair under the GPU as well. Not saying the front has to be fully mesh but bigger openings on the sides would have helped greatly. Having fans up-top to exhaust air would have been great too but that would have also been against the main purpose of this design. CPU temps are hopefully good but that GPU is probably close (or is) throttling.
@ on the topic of the gpu hot air pocket, how do you prevent one?
@@floppa5032 In a way, you kind of can't... The best way is to make sure the GPU is mounted high enough to make sure the fans can do their job and far enough from the front that the air can travel up instead of down. With the only fan being in the back, more air is probably going into the computer than it can exhaust. This is an example with more exhaust fans could help the GPU.

If you already have the PC, test to see how easy/hard it is to replace that AIO and what about the GPU temps? It seems that HP still has not learned the GPU's need air for cooling.

Probably already been said. But now encase a PC tower in a block of ice with zero fans(Or with fans. Who knows) and cables for power, monitor, and the power switch sticking out in order turn it on and then see how cool it stays. >_>
