sorry for this video being a day late, of lot of stuff happened this end of the week for me, couldn't get in the right mindset to edit a video - (it's also not as edited as I would like, so I'm uploading the next video next friday/saturday so that I can work on a FULLY edited video again!)
so this is about that event everyone disliked very much, I have to say I didn't mind it, I really enjoyed the mechanic where every time you clear a stage the next one gets harder and you get to pick the order, it's nice!

I never even played it, I tried 4 times and only succeeded on the last one, with 53 seconds left TvT. I gave up after that
Nah. The worst events are the built events where you have to neuter yourself while giving the mins lots of steroids for extra points
I thought this event was fun, lots of combat & not a bunch of fetch quests or 1 off meaningless npc quests...cleared it all golds first try, welkin player...idk why people are saying it's so bad :/
This was the first event that made me rage quit Genshin. I literally snapped and then went to explore Liyue and found a lot of chests, I appreciate my mental health (a little bit).

I literally only used the event to try out Kokomi, Yoimiya and Keqing since I like them a lot but I don't have any of them

7:45 personally, I pity Timaeus, mainly because everyone in game and the community trash talks him when he's just doing his best. His colleagues don't respect him and think he's a terrible alchemist (sorry he can't progress as fast as you because he doesn't have a vision or isn't literally made of chalk to be the perfect artificial human), and in the community everyone hates him just because they can't move five inches away from him so they don't misclick when they want to use the alchemy table. Like, this situation is completely unfair. He's trying his best, ok?

I never personally hate him. I hate my finger for misclicking and never blame him. In this event, his conversation with Ying'er was my only savior for this event.

My guess why people think this event is so hard is because a lot of people don't have 2 built teams to do the event. A lot of players just have 1 team to breeze through all the overworld stuff and maybe clear floor 9 and 10 of the abyss.

I only have hu tao as a dps atm and I haven't touched abyss since I got my free xiangling so I had no reason to make other teams... my hu tao team is doing just fine with everything else in the game ( ps I'm only at 43 and people advise to artifact grind at ar 45 so I'm waiting )
Maybe because it was so easy to misunderstand too. Most peoples don't read and this event is hell if you don't understand it's rules.
There are also stupid shi** like me who read the explenation but somehow didn't understand it anyway. Oh well...

@@DhrithionVocals tbh, I would advise new players to start artifacting at AR30 for basic stats, that way end game artifacts are easier to build because you can just swap out the old built artifacts and use that to upgrade end game artifacts. Saves time and resources

Honestly i feel like this event is hard for people under ar 50, especially since the enemies level doesn't seem to change with your world level. I have an ar 47 account and it was absolute pain, couldn't even get all primos. It was significantly easier on my ar 55 account with a nicely built egg, kokomi, yanfei, and bennett. it's mostly a difficult event bc usually the primos weren't locked behind difficult challenges (mostly just 'complete this stage' or sumn) but this time it was. I think that's mainly why this event was hell for most people, especially f2ps.
as a somewhat f2p at ar56 (only bought welkin once), that's definitely the reason. and so many people on the cesspool known as twitter think newer/f2p players want handouts when that is not true at all. so many people wished there was a way to implement difficulty based on world level so that it still provided a challenge, but was actually doable. there are a lot of casual players (myself included), so even if i had the money to c6 my way to victory, it would take me so much longer to do so because i don't play every day for 7+ hours on end.
Same! I’m f2p in both my accounts. Doing this in my AR 57 main account with decently-built characters: just fine. Not the easiest event, but I managed to get gold in every stage without having to reset the whole thing, just restarting a few levels sometimes. In my alt AR 42 account, though… PAAAAAIN… I gave up after a while, didn’t even go for the primos, absolutely awful
f2p AR 45 here, I can confirm this was the definition of hell. couldn’t even get the primogems.

Even though they changed the game so that u can use the crafting bench through timaeus, I still won’t finish the quest so he just gets to stay in liyue, far away from my crafting bench

9:45 you did well on that stage, but remember: Raiden's burst and subsequent electric sword attacks deal more damage the more bursts you activate before activating hers
i’ve had raiden the moment she came out and i didn’t know that, thanks for sharing man
there's a limit to the amount of extra damage you can achieve this way, which is shown by the circle behind your character. try it out, ult on another char when the circle is there and you'll light up some bars in the circle
I wouldn't blame people, raiden's talent description is like a novel

I did the entirety of this event today and I’ve never felt so frustrated trying to get rewards 😂 It was fun at times but it doesn’t help 90% of my characters aren’t raised or built.

Idk why but this event was wayyy easier WITH the hard multiplier. I first tried it without and I was struggling to get any golds. Then i turned it on and I was getting double the needed amount. That honestly might explain why so many people found this so hard
yeah this, i think it’s got something to do with the one minute time limit, at least for me, because while it seems easier on paper the enemies wouldn’t spawn instantly after killing each rotation (i play on mobile, but if i’m able to run high graphics without lagging then clearly it wasn’t my device that was the problem) which costed me several valuable seconds
Hearing you read out Ying'er's dialogues and desecend into a fit of laughter is very amusing lmao

I’m actually surprised how much people hated this event when I found this to be one of the easier battle type events (/lights up a cigarette/ I hated the vagabond event). primos are on the silver medal so if you’re only concerned about that, you don’t have to try so hard for gold medal.

I loved this event, even as a f2p -- my regular team is pretty much all healers/shielders, which might've made it a lot easier lol
it literally was impossible for me to do this event, because of my severely underleveled characters. RIP all the primogems I could’ve had, but couldn’t get because of the pain.

I managed to get all the primos only using the trial characters (except a level 20 Barbara on one stage for the pyro abyss mages' shields), so I can confirm it's possible. You just have to be a bit of a masochist and extremely stubborn.

I loved this event because it was an easier and more strategic version of spiral abyss, but I'm also saying that as a player that has already been getting 36 stars in the abyss for quite a while now. Don't really know how it was like for people without built characters. Also, more Ying'er is always appreciated.

This event was so fun! I'm actually happy that it was an event that made me actually have to think & not brute force with whatever. Also? It made me really want Kokomi, she is so fun and the new set really made her even better. Last time I had to skip her because Raiden sucked me dry, but new time she is going to be my goal 🥺
You need to use geo char on geo wolfs, same with the electro. They will have resistance debuff for that.

honestly i saw a lot of varying opinions on the difficulty of this event; some people found it really hard and others found it easy. for me it was easy, i was able to get all gold with 18k+ points on each stage but thats because i've been playing this game for over a year now and i have a good amount of characters built up decently. for people who havent been playing as long and dont have many characters built yet, it would be a pain for sure
i think the event was really cool tho, it made you think about your team comps and also let you use trial characters in a team with your own characters. a very nice way to help you decide which characters you should pull for on their reruns
I think this had the opportunity to be a fun event that wasn’t so polarizing, it just needed to take better into account the difference in player ability by doing any combination of the following:
- Increasing the amount of trial characters
- Adjusting enemy level based on world level
- Lowering the bare minimum requirements for collecting the primos
- Adjusting the trial rules themselves (ie: not soft blocking crowd control by separating enemies so much, letting you reuse characters and potions immediately, getting rid of the “progressively harder” rounds, allowing players to keep their elemental resonance buffs if using a trial character [idek why that was implemented, it’s so stupid])
Nothing about the event was bad in theory; no I don’t think it’s wrong to have made it a “mini abyss.” It just wasn’t created to include all the players who had access to it (AR30 and above).

so i don't know if a lot of people know this, but unlike the abyss, when you step out of the blue door & deciding your next team for the next floor, you can switch around your weapons and artifiacts even if they're the same someone used last floor which made this event so much easier for me compared to Spiral Abyss
Ngl u made this seems so easy, I can't believe I'm so bad lmaooo. I myself being a xiao, egg and childe player all together is a pain, everyone just loves bennettdict so much, without him one side suffered alot with time.
Btw, the wolves, geo and electro, when u use geo on the geo, electro on the electro, it reduces the resistance of their element, so raiden and itto/noelle works really great here, but well, u get attacked more in return so it depends!

I liked the potions event. It made me feel rewarded for building different characters for different situations, especially healers for the wolves.
Also, Electro doggos get rekt by Electro and Geo doggos by Geo, so Raiden pretty much deletes the Electro doggos with her b00ba swordo lol

Honestly, I didn't even bother attempting this event. I just don't have the willpower to slog through another thinly veiled gear check for primos when I don't even want any of the characters that are coming soon...well, other than Yae, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

lol that's the frustrating part. you'll get almost all the way through a door and then you get stuck doing the same floor over and over again becuase you keep on being several seconds off. This was the first event where I didn't manage to get all the primos :(
Ii think the most problem with this event that usually primos hide under easy achievements but there you really need to work (AUDACITY) and well many mediocre playes have build only one good team and playing with the test chatacters needs time to used to their playstyle which is annoying (but as person who had built 5 different team with different characters at each i was like MY TIME HAS COME).
Also geo and electro wolf guys need to be beaten by their elements - once you heat electro wolf with electro they lose their resistance and get even more DMG from electro, the same with geo. Just in case you forget or don't know!

Not surprised this event was panned as being hell lol. Me not allowed to smash through with just my geo team is a crime, and the time limits for gold are way too restrictive when enemies have Abyss levels of health. ):
Abyss levels of health?? I don't think it's that bad. Floor 12 enemies have 1.5 MILLION+ HP that you have to cut through and damage is calculated with resistances in mind

also I kinda get it for casual players, most people only in it for pulling/the story so they don't build a million things? i'm not sure
this event was just a repeat of seeing “challenge failed” fill my screen
