This event had certain pattern and blindspots so at first try you'll be detected by these doggos no matter what.. The detection mechanics are so weird, rendering those obstruction useless, you just need to keep distance from them instead of hiding behind cuz they'll definitely detect you... So what I did was to find the blindspots and patterns and timing to activate those smokescreen/fireworks and never trust those obstructions... I hope if they'll rerun this event they should test this out first. Ngl these doggos are much more challenging to fight than other overworld mobs.. Their moveset reminds me of Traveler's skill set...
