13:38 USSF’s board and our media are usually harsher on non-American coaches. Gregg got the gawk gawk 9000 from the board and the FS1/ CBS crowd whereas Klinsmann was criticized heavily even though he lead a worse squad to a better World Cup (win vs Ghana and close game vs Belgium instead of getting clapped by a mid Netherlands team)
I don’t blame poch for his failures at PSG because Messi refused to press and honestly that ruined his system with players willing to press i think he’ll be great.
@@bootstarpemu3248Neymar pressed more than Messi and mbappe combined. The problem was mbappe who was younger and more fit than both of them. He had no excuse and won't even press at Madrid.
i thought it was photoshop at first until i saw him sit down, INSANE hire for the USMNT, he will 100% improve your squad, don’t expect to win the thing cuz let’s be honest the cut of players aren’t there yet but he will bring unbelievable progression to stride forward, exactly what you need edit: just seen the conclusion where you say he just needs to improve not win… perfectly said 🙏🏼
Ummm Tottenham were never considered part of the Big 4. That was Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal (during the early 2000s) Tottenham were a part of the big FIVE (during the early 80s) which consisted of Man Utd, Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal and Tottenham. Im going to assume you meant the big 5 (or even big 6 which includes Tottenham) rather than big 4.
From the jump I knew poch getting this job was not a sign of the growing influence of the usmnt pull but the insane fall off of a former world class manager.
Dude. This is the second time (i guess because this is a repost). Tottenham were NOT ever considered part of the Big 4. That's Arsenal, United, Chelsea, and Liverpool. They are NOT and have never been a historically dominant team.
Chelsea are a more recent addition Tottenham were literally one of the big five prem clubs with arsenal Everton United and Liverpool More titles than Chelsea before abramovich
I love Jedi but that’s a wild statement. He’s not even a top 3 left back as much as we want him to be. Robertson, Gvardiol, Ake, Udogie, and most of the Arsenal left backs are better. I’m not going to name right backs because it feels disrespectful since I do rate Robinson highly, I just don’t overrate him.
kasey keller is the biggest berhlater shill on tv. Let's see us play with our starting 11. Also great shoutout to tactical manager tv been watching him for years now he's the best when it comes to usmnt content
Anyone saying Poch won’t do well doesn’t know ball. He’s made bad decisions about where to coach, doesn’t mean he can’t coach. That man made Dele Ali look almost world class, that’s miracle work.
One glaring issue with Poch, he makes players run in training all the time, no matter of current fitness. It was why Chelsea squad was always injured because they make them run and run after just recovering leading to more and more injuries. The other glaring issue is his tactical decisions. If the US is set up in a way that enables his style than it can work but there are horror stories about his methods from Spurs and Chelsea. He's not a sure win coach, if they get injured continously don't be surprised
You called spurs a top four club. What was your thought process and on perspective and hindsight how would you eject them from what you said (as they’re clearly not a top four premier league club in the history of this league since 1992)…
If they exit at the group stage it’s an embarrassment (especially given the new format). A round of 32 exit would be a slight disappointment unless it’s because of a very unlucky draw (i.e. them performing good in the group stage and still getting a big team). If they exit at the round of 16 they should be glad with the result especially if it’s against a big team. If they make it to the quarter final or even farther it’s a great success.
Just finished your video and you mentioned you were excited to see how Poch works with… Tyler Adams… Yeah good luck I see another group stage exit for you guys to follow your equally dismal Copa America (Record) exit. Just make sure you look after Antonee Robinson who’s everyone’s favourite scouser who didn’t think he could make the England team all those years ago.
Bro when we play in Mexico it’s literally an unfair advantage for them due to altitude. Any teams that play that high above sea level should be forced to play at a more location more conducive to fair play. Any stadium that has the ability to rule certain players out due to atmospheric conditions should be outlawed. I feel the same way about the Denver Broncos so don’t say I’m making excuses. Anyone with sickle cell traits puts their life at risk trying to play in those conditions. Peru should be forced to play elsewhere as well. Players safety should trump home field advantages.
He had issues with the massive squad in the beginning but anyone could see that Poch was heading in the right direction. The form in the ending stages was just brilliant once he figured out the players he wanted. Poch does well with a smaller squad and knows how to develop younger talent. Wont be a cake walk but he's as good as a coach you can for a young USMNT squad
@@sandeepghoshal6503poch didnt have a massive squad, potter did, but poch didnt, that wasnt his issue, he's just shit tactically, he literally forgot about inverting cucurella until the last 10 games of the season

He's not great, his time at chelsea showed he's not a world class coach, his pre season was great, then he forgot all about the formation, stopped inverting cucurella, the club wasnt over bloated, hes just not very good tactically and was lucky we had a good squad, blamed everything on the team being young when it was how he set the team up

I mean, the US male national soccer team is a 4th/5th tier nation in terms of talent. I don't think they could do much better than this.
