Awesome talk! Super informative!
*Not All Game Trailers Are Created Equal
It's translated from french 😆
Dont be that guy, we know what he meant
actually, your sentence is completly different from what he says. "Not all are ..." mean that SOME trailer are different but you can find similar one, whereas "All are not ..." mean that you can't even find 2 trailer that are similar.
Also also, i agree that maybe it's just a french mistakes because in french it's super wrong to say "not all". but still, the meaning IS different in your "correction"
@@TheShiumy Yes you are correct, and my point was that his intended meaning was that of the correction, not the original title.
Good talk. Was very interesting to see the view counts of the different trailer types.
This covered a lot of aspects I would not have realised, thank you
Thanks to conference, my life got better. Thank you very much.
Solid talk! Though I clicked fully expecting it to be another Derek Lieu rundown 😅
plss it so cute
this is the most french man that ever french’d
Half way through and I'm craving a baguette.
This is how to make a boring trailer kojima is the king of trailer maker and he always innovate new stuff
Kojima only made movies, not games.
I'm sure he's the kind of guy who use plenty of english words while speaking french.
Should have subtitles.
@15:06 "plus the next WHAT?"
".. the next post-show upload"
This information is great, but wow, that accent. I'm not trying to be rude, but they might as well have just presented in French and let YT do the auto-captions. Then at least some people would have understood what he was saying. And I'm usually really good at understanding accents.
srsly. if he would just put a hint of effort into the speech, it would actually be understandable, I think.
But the sheer confidence and speed with which he seez these wurds eez aebsoluuuteleee incroiable.
If you're not good at English yourself, I get it. But that's what captions are for. No need to be a dick, in any language.
You can’t just “put a hint of effort into the speech” when you have an accent due to not being a native English speaker, if you have an accent you have an accent. You’d have to take vocal coaching in order get rid of an accent and it’s impressive that this guy can be so well spoken in English in the first place, considering France isn’t very good at teaching their people English. I found him to be perfectly coherent, and anyone that didn’t can just watch the vid with subs or not watch at all, there are plenty of other GDC talks on this channel to enjoy.
So he's been working as a "Brain Manager", yes?
Sry guys, but this is unwatchable. So hard to understand and follow.
The japanese guys were easier to understand and still had a translator 😆
ceci n'est pas anglais
Just use subtitles then, RUclips's automatic subtitles seems to understand this talk very well
I't perfectly understandable
Not sure why you are this negative.
@@DeathByPixelsVisuals Probably a non-English speaker, so has a harder time understanding. As a native speaker, I just needed about 5min to adjust.
