Amazing, amazing information. I am a CEU provider for massage therapists. I would love to do a podcast with Shelley, or someone willing to share this information with the massage community. So few massage therapists do abdominal work. We could be such a great help to these clients!!

Thanks for this great video. I work as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon and see many lymphedema patients. I would be very interested in another video addressing surgical procedures and treatment opportunities for these patients.

As someone who has what I believe is this condition and as someone’ who has struggled to get a doctor to actually diagnose it I think this will be helpful and will try to get my GP to view this.

@@blueprintx598 No, I am in Australia mate. As for symptoms, during that presentation you see a guy with his scrotum hanging past his knees. Thats my situation exactly.

thank you for this video. Lymphedema is something I am interested in as I have it in the upper and lower leg area. It began after I had knee replacement surgery on both knees. I now understand somewhat of how to drain the Lymph nodes by moving the swollen, puffy skin upward on the legs to release and drain the nodes back into the body system.
I would love to see a video of how to "manipulate" the lymph nodes to reduce toxins and drain the body using a real person. This would give me major beneficial information of how to make my legs feel restored, function with ease and reduce my Lymphedema.
I have noticed while searching for an answer that Lymphedema is a medical and critical conundrum with many, especially women. We need significant support with this situation immediately. We held the belief that we were just fat and are slow to talk to our doctors about it. And would they even understand it?
It is very difficult to find an expert to do this procedure so I am at a cross roads to do it myself. We could use your help. Thank you so much for being there and helping us to understand.

After using the method to remove and move the Lymph node fluid in the genital area I have developed a rash at the fold of the inner thigh. It feels like a diaper rash would feel and seems to be getting worse. I have used Gold Bond powder which is the only thing that gives me some relief. My question is: could my Lymphs nodes be opening up right there and draining possible stored up toxins that are causing the rash?well after reading your post again I realize how important hygiene is. Especially changing the cloth at each wash. I am using a scrubber (all the time) that could be holding bacteria. thank you. I will try this suggestion and certainly trash the scrubber. :D.
