@quadcarnage8462 Well, a commanders MG34, and it has spaced armor on the front and sides that help against solid shot AP and soaks up some of the HEAT projectiles, especially when angling. It's the difference between a Panzer III J and a Panzer III N armor wise. By all means, run the Panzer III J1, I ran both together for a bit along with the Premium PZIVE with HEAT shells.
@@psychobeam99 Thanks for the answer, on why it bests the free PZ III J1. Wouldn't have been able to figure this out myself, as like I mentioned the only stat difference displayed in game seemed to be marginally faster speed on the PZ III M. I guess RUclips AI decided to be deranged, with its auto delete key on my comment, but you came through with the info, so cheers dude👍
Anyone know how these suckers pen jumbos? I've had my gunner knocked out from the front by the panzer 3 m on multiple occasions. Kinda wanna run it, but I haven't figured it out yet. Not that I mind simply flanking.
@@ace98curtiss Depends on where the shell and filler go when it penetrates the gun port. Usually you want to angle the Jumbo and try to make penning the MG Port near impossible.
Check your squads, then on the right it should have the name of the vehicle. To switch tanks, click on your Tank Squad, then click on the Tank and it should have the option to switch tanks pending the Tanker Class.
PZ. III N carries a short barreled 75MM Cannon. Great against infantry, but keep in mind short barreled cannons have slower shell velocity and longer reload. PZ. III M carries a long 50MM Cannon (Same one Puma uses) and has faster fire rate. Also the 50MM Cannon is more accurate at long range encounters and the PZ. III M has more protection (See me surviving demo charges and A-20G bomb runs). PZ. III N is a Tech Tree Anti-Infantry Tank whereas the PZ. III M can multi-role. I rather take the PZ. III M out with my Puma since both can easily adapt to the battlefield and not be gimped for one specific role. Since I do well in Tanks, I rather have an Return on Investment through the PZ. III M. Hope this helps.
@@Bungle1 Thanks! That's what I wanted to know. If it wasn't so expensive I'd have bought it. I feel that's probably not necessary anymore as I have a Panzer 4H and a PZ III which is max stars and will do the same job vs infantry with a bit less XP. I look forward to your next video maybe some gun comparisons?
If you just spawned and a Sherman is spawn camping you then usually it depends on the first shot. If that Sherman misses then you can have time to use your mobility and armor to deflect rounds and get a good side shot on the Sherman. The M4A2 packs a 75mm gun and the front of it can be penned if you get a 30-45 degree angle on the sides of the front armor. If you manage to take out the gunner/driver, you can use that delay to drive around and get a few side shots. You can also aim for the right turret cheek and land a shot there to, I just would not sit there and trade shots frontally. If you are facing the Sherman Jumbo (You will know since the entire front is red and can't pen), drive around and use your side skirts to deflect rounds and get a side shot. That's the best tactics to use against Shermans. The M4A2 can be beaten, Jumbo you need to evade and get side shots ASAP. Hope this helps!
@@Bungle1 Thanks! I was hoping for some advice. I don't have the Panzer III M but I do have the N version of it. I'm hoping its 75mm howitzer can still go through those spots.
Imma just point out that Enlisted calculates penetration by caliber and not on a cannon-by-cannon basis. So in most if not all characteristics, the N seems better.
Try using th PZ. III N on the side of a Jumbo, it does not work. PZ. III M can pen the side of the Jumbo. I think Enlisted is using War Thunder's penetration mechanics.
I'd have said no since the N demolishes everything it sees as it is and has better gun for throwing HE. 100 kills 300 assists, 10k xp without premium is not at all hard with N.
I already bought all the premium and gold squad tanks besides the first tank but I still enjoy watching
Can confirm this is one of the best Tier 2 Premiums atm.

I’ve seen the Gun Port being the most reliable way to pen the Jumbo frontally
@@Bungle1 I suppose. Those must've been some wild shots. Is the gunner in line with that port? Might have to change up my angling.

For a little while I would say no. Now with the coming Tier system (that I dont really care for) maybe.
What is the difference between this and the normal pz3 in normandy besides the xp
