The de Armas and Riseborough nominations are inspired choices. They're both EXTRAORDINARY in their films.
Deadwyler was straight up robbed
Should have been nominated over Michelle Williams. Viola Davis was also robbed.
@@laurajones1773 agreed, Williams was only a supporting role in that film too
Exactly. If she was nominated in supporting, I wonder if either Danielle Deadwyler or Viola Davis would be nominated in lead.
LMAO you’re reaction to Michelle Williams has me rolling 😂
She wasn’t even a lead role in that movie 🤦♂️
Everyone: do I think Deadwyler should have gotten in over Williams? Yes. Yes indeed. Would Deadwyler have been on my ballot? No.
The dude hasn't watched All Quiet On the Western Front, or didn't like it? He wasn't reacting to it at all.
What a year!!!
I agree that Judd Hirsch and Michelle Williams should not be nominated. Judd Hirsch only appeared in like one scene of the movie. Also, I thought Michelle Williams was just okay in The Fablemans. She did act melodramatic at times especially at one scene when she was dancing. I think Viola Davis and Danielle Deadwyler are more deserving of being nominated than her.
Deadwyler has moments of great power in Till. The morgue scene is incredible in my opinion. But I found her stilted and a bit mannered in certain scenes. Plus Till is not a good movie.
What should Jamie Lee Curtis have been nominated for years before ??
The Fish Called Wanda.

Lastly, I love Michelle Williams. But she's borderline terrible in TF. It is a misjudged and tonally "off" performance in my opinion.
