Wieder mal perfekt gefilmt! Das wechselweise zeigen von Drive und Reviewszenen hat mich auch sehr angesprochen, denn obwohl man ja als RC Fan auch an einer näheren Betrachtung des Fahrzeuges interessiert ist, wirkt das Review bei dir zu Hause so viel kurzweiliger. Im TV wird das bei Reportagen auch oft so gemacht.

This truck is very capable for a scale crawler! it's quite impressive. It crawls very slowly and behaves much like a real truck when the suspension compresses over bumps.

Wow great job painting that body! I thought it came prepainted like that. Overall it makes me think of the latest Raptor with its headlight and fender design. I like that sunroof option . Really nicely done.

I like how the vehicle seems to have some weight to it. The way it acts on its suspension is very scale looking.

looks like a fun truck! the body mounting is very neat. I hope other companies follow suit. Also, great idea for mounting the driver. You could make a whole interior if you want and it can be seen with the nice panoramic sun roof!

OH... And in my experience, what actually eliminates Torque Twist is LOW Axle Gearing and higher Transmission Gearing.
I have my two SCX10s set up that way, and have almost no Twist! 😉

How you can change the gearing in the axle? This is not fix? Do you have to replace the gears by special parts?
I don't think Gears are available for the Komodo... Maybe you could retrofit Axial SCX10 II Axles. This will give you a 3.75:1 Axle Ratio.
I THINK the Axial Axles will replace the GMade Axles....
Yes Matteo! planes are far riskier...
But these kits are made from simple Foam Core Board or Depron. 😉

The body mounting method is interesting and the way the pumpkins, are tilted upwards is endearing. Is there a particular benefit to this? The Komodo rides beautifully in your video as always. 👌
Thanks! I think the benefit is the diff cover and screws are better protected, and the axle slips better over rocks.
This is a very interesting chassis. I have the original GS-01 Komodo and this looks a lot different. How are you enjoying the Hobbywing AXE power system?

Hi Matteo, This model looks pretty good and the body seems to be very well finished. The black metal sheet that you use for the interior, could you please tell me what it is called or the part number ... it seems excellent that solution you use to create the interiors of the lexan bodies.

Thanks! Glad you liked it! The black metal sheet is originally silver. It's a perforated aluminum sheet I got from a local Hardware store. I trimmed it to right size, bent the edges and painted it black.

Under heavy load it could be the gears skip over some tooth and made a big noise.

What’s a good lasting battery to go with truck for lights and winch setup ???
I would say better is a 2s lipo, 7.4 volts fits most winches and lights.
Ilike the hidden body clips but seems like it would be easy to loose rhe ones in the rear?
No, this is not a problem, only if the pins are worn out...

Ich habe mir auch einen Gs02 Double Cab gegönnt als kit. Was würdest du im Nachhinein verändern am Chassis ? Bin noch am Aufbau im Moment. Habe durch dein Video meinen CC01 in Rente geschickt und mir diesen geholt.

Vielen Dank Mark! Eigentlich musst du gar nicht viel ändern am chassis, funktioniert alles wirklich sehr gut. Wenn du möchtest kannst du später das 2- Gang Getriebe einbauen. Habe das beim GS-02 BOM drinn und macht Spass und funktioniert super.
