Lee - the kid who complains that his teacher "tried to make me look stupid" looks so familiar. Turns out he's Michael Lembeck, son of Harvey Lembeck, who played Eric Von Zipper in the Frankie and Annette beach movies. Look at his 21st century photo on Wikipedia, and he's the spitting image of his dad.

Minor details (from the first few seasons). Did anyone notice that NONE of the girls wear pants? Every female wears a dress or a skirt (with the exception of one episode where a girl in a sweat suit, tries out for the men's basketball team). Why? Because female students could not wear pants to school! In 1972, the Education Amendments Act was passed in the United States, finally allowing girls to wear pants. Can you imagine?

I noticed the same thing, and in the same episode with the basketball team, the auto shop teacher was worried that the girls' legs were too much of a distraction for the boys. Mr. Kaufman's response was perfect: "You mean they aren't already?" Can't win for losing, right?

I don't remember that, seemed like a lot of students wore genes unless that was a dress code.
