CCM actually usually uses bigger drums. They probably just got that kit cause it was a good price and you really don’t need a 20 or 22 kick. I play mainly funk and rock and I use an 18” kick for 80% of my gigs
From one church giging musician to another. Great video I enjoy seeing what other musicians experiences are like on Sundays! Definitely will be subscribing and following you bro!
Love the content man! I'm a drummer in the north georgia area. I used to go to Calvary Chapel in chatt, love that place! My dream is to do exactly what you're doing man, just traveling and playing for the lawd! Keep it up bro!
Excellent video man, haven’t really seen your content on RUclips but you seem like a humble dude, u have a new subscriber. Can’t wait to see more new content
Big time tip on the being flexible. I was playing a gig last week and my in ear starting going static + in and out. Ended up only working when I ran the band and click separate - so mono in each ear. It was good enough to get through the gig. Gotta do what you gotta do!
Most definitely, for most places I play at it’s a hybrid of CCM and Gospel so if I don’t have 2 snares at my disposal I’ll meet in the middle with a 6 or 6.5 x14. Just picked up a new one in my latest gear haul video of you want to check it out ruclips.net/video/m63Y0vWqlXQ/видео.html
They had me plugged straight into a line in, which I honestly prefer over packs (just personal preference), but overall I just didn’t have enough gain getting sent to my ears of the kit
I hear what you talking about cause I can't even hear this near and I had it in a ' pedal and assembles because when you heard that's near I know you be having that near popped in my boy cause I can't even hear your own sneaker
as a main drummer at my church, i can confirm i do this every sunday
Same
Love it Nephew! Me Your Dad , Grandma and Papa Wilson as well as Papa Billy Joe are very proud of you.
Thank you unc I appreciate that fr 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Spoken as a true musician!!

That floor tom is sweeeeeeet.
Cool video bro, I'm also a drummer for my local church in Orlando FL. I'm originally from Miami though.
Thanks for taking us on the gig my bro. 🙏🏾

Thank you fr 🙏🏽🙏🏽 you be well as well brother 💪🏽
You know any churches around here looking for a drummer
@@shawnwhite4246 I don't. I'm looking for one myself.
I know Chris Blue. His brothers sing and PLAY as well. I used to be roommates with his first cousin.
Thank you for this video man
Need more of these 🔥🔥
You did well too play this set because that mix is a shambles. No drums
Hey my birthday two years ago……😂 can’t remember what I was doing but I can guarantee I wasn’t in a church..🤷🏼♂️
This is a real nice vid. Only things is the drums are low but other than that amazing
Real ccm requires the deep snare (8x14) tones. Dope snare tho 🔥

👍🏻👍🏻
raw guy
Appreciate that 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Yo what backpack is that because I mess with it !!
Appreciate it 🙏🏽, I got it from this brand called KNOMO London. Can’t remember the exact model number
I’m a noob drummer so excuse the question but what’s the difference with the black skins vs, the clears or “normal” heads?
Any coated heads results in a warmer tone. Black or white
Clear heads usually have a sharper attack and “cut”
👋🏾
Hey where did you get those in ear monitors from?
Amazon, link in bio under “products I use”
was that your in-ear mix? why can't we hear anything you play?
Yupp, I explained it in the video. I didn’t have control over my levels. Just one of those situations you gotta play through
Whats that contraption on the snare @3:28?
It’s called a “snare weight” works as a dampener for the drum
What camera are you using bro?
Just my iphone 12
Ahh ok ok… joint clean💪🏾
Sounds like your pack was panned to the wrong side.
Maybe.. (tech guy thoughts)

I don't like moon gels anymore
💪🏿🙏🏿♥️💒👏🏾🥁
Tens are always annoying on any kit
Sound system there is a total nightmare, what a bunch of garbage.

Would've been sick to have the emerald van cameo at the stop light lol
Man I know bro, gotta be filming at all times 😂
