OMG, Ginger mentioning the COC made me nostalgic for going to see the COC's free "opera by the lake" at harbourfront every year. It was always a great show and got to see so many amazing world-class opera singers. Oh yeah, Brittney and Fang were having so much fun it was contagious.

Agreed. To me opera, in general, seemed stale. New infusions are helping refresh that.

@@MikeandGinger Well then ginger you truly are an opera acolyte! Renee spoils me to just about any other voice. I mean how they do it without microphones just blows me away. I was thinking of the five minute sad area that she does at the 2006 Nobel peace prize award ceremony. She’s introduced there by Sharon stone. Have you heard that one I forget the composer. It’s so beautiful it’s probably five minutes of the most beautiful singing by one woman I’ve ever heard
