I used to have an LG v60 with a dual screen case and when that case was on it that was the heaviest phone I ever carried. It was like a brick . This feels light as a feather in comparison.
Same here. I still have my LGV60 and my LGG8X units. I really liked it then both and though I got used to the weight, the Open is like my original LGG8X in size but much lighter.
Loving this phone as my first foldable. Especially love the downsides you've mentioned since they are a pain sometimes but hopefully can be fixed with a software update. The camera bump is actually brilliant. It's a round version with the camera configuration reversed of an iPhone Pro Max. It's sort of a dig at Apple. Plus it DOES represent a true Hasselblad camera lens. With fast charging and face unlock, this phone is a true champion. My phone's camera lens gets no fogging at all. I have to say this is a proper review, and I appreciate it. Got to learn a lot about the device. One plus is doing great and we shouldn’t underestimate how well crafted their devices are becoming with an identity that’s becoming increasingly visible in the smartphone market.
The app transition between switching screens depend a lot on individual app maker to support phone Manufacturer. If Discord does not help Oppo, there is not much Oppo can do. Apparently, Oppo is the best on the folding phone scene with app optimization for major apps. This just goes to show how much effort Oppo has put into reaching out individual app makers to make their phone as smooth as it is now.

No idea about OPPO / Oneplus, but on my zfold4, the crease does become deeper over time. So unless the OPPO / OnePlus hinge design is totally different, I suspect the crease will slowly become "deeper" and more visible over time.
Question; It's been 3 months since you posted this video, is this phone still your main, everyday device? Do you miss slab phones and will you go back to slab phones after using a foldable? Also, have you encountered any problems so far with this phone (film peeling off the screen, dead pixels, glitches on the screen, touchscreen input problems)? Thank you!
Hey there, and thanks for the comment! Actually had a bit of an issue with this phone and a pretty extreme case of dead pixels. Be sure to check our channel as we did a video on it and another on the process for the getting it repaired. At this point we've just gotten it back and will probably do a final thoughts video coming soon
I use my outer glass/main screen much more than the foldable screen which means that it remains closed on some days...all day! When I open mine I have to put my ear(s) right next to the phone, and even then the amount of "noise" it makes is barely audible! I have read that others say the same thing that it makes noise when it has not been opened for some time. Mine does not. Seeing that we're talking about a mechanical hinge with springs, etc., etc., I think it all comes down to the manufacturing process and some will make noise whereas others do not! I guess I am lucky???

Have an iPhone 14 pro max and thinking of switching to this. Question. Is the landscape video when opened bigger than on an iPhone pro max in landscape? And do you know if much smaller than an iPad mini? And the haptics? Sorry too many questions
It's not completely bigger but if you zoom to fill on the iPhone you'll have a bigger screen with less content without zoom the OnePlus is way bigger also the phone is bigger diagonally
Also if you want a feel for it it's basically the entire screen of the iPhone until the right on island; I own both and honestly the open feels bigger just because of it's form factor

I think the noise when opening is the edges sticking together...since it closes so tight. Not the hinge. My demo had the same.

that snap crackle n pop noise is a warning that the inner screen protector will be soon bubbling at the seam ...well on the Samsung folds anyway
