I could fall asleep to her voice. I was really upset once so I watched interviews with her and Suranne Jones and that’s what I call brilliant. Did you watch Killing Eve? One of the best shows I’ve ever watched. Anything with Suranne Jones or Jodie Comer is an absolute masterpiece🔥
This comment is a year old so I don’t know if you know this but they already have a movie.. and it will probably be the most depressing thing you will ever watch. Jodie comer is not in it sadly but the two actresses who play in it are equally as talented :) especially the actress who plays Virginia. (The movie it’s quite literally called Vita and Virginia)
How could anyone think canceling her is a good idea hearing that from her lips makes me think they should do a movie based on the love affair with Comer being this person the words flow and come across so real it left me breathless
Nicely done. I'm an old fart, a boomer. I've appreciated the art and craft of acting , like forever. When I see someone with her talent, I am still in awe. I watched a lot of her interviews, videos, shows and award speeches (BAFTA is the Best) and you get a genuine, down to earth, sweet, smart young woman. Her parents should be proud. I look forward to many more performances of hers. I have yet to see Killing Eve 3, but I look forward to it. Glad she helped with recognition for Pride week as well. Classy and caring.
I like your comment so much!! Just here to say I agree and thanks for the good vibes. I hope u got to see Jodie's new projects. She won her 2nd Bafta award for the movie "Help" just yesterday. She did 2 movies last year "The last duel" and "Free guy" showing a very diverse range with her acting choices. She is right now performing a sold out play called "Prima Facie" about how justice system fails sexual abused victims getting 5 stars reviews and she will act and executive produce 2 more films later on. To say I am proud is an understament. I met her as a Killing Eve fan but now I am Jodie fan for life. Such a talented humble sweet person! 😢💞
@@gabx0729 Glad my comments were liked. I did know about "help", got great reviews but I haven't seen it because it's Not on the channels I get. dang. I heard about the play, sure wish I was across the pond in London to see it. I'll have to watch the Baftas, it's always fun and interesting. You take care dear and I know we will both see more of Jodie, she is THE actress now and I think should have a long and storied career. And hope her personal life is happy and safe.
@@KindCountsDeb3773 Hi Deborah!! Thanks for your reply. Yes I bet we will see much more of Jodie. Will be here when she snatch that Golden globe, Oscar and any other award in existence. She is genuinely a down to Earth humble fun person very close to her family and friends. I wish her all the good in the world. Cheers from Canada to you 💞
Hahaha, best comment ever! Me too! 2 seconds between 2:36- 2:38 to get out from Vita to become Jodie again and it surprised me. She is outstanding. 3 or 4 actresses en the world have only made me feel something like her acting does.
She is so powerfully wonderful! Her voice and the eloquence with which she spoke another person's love letter....she makes you believe it was she who wrote it...she blows me away with every character she plays....please keep on wowing us.........
I’m here for 63726372773th times to just see her being the best actress and I’m on the edge of changing my name to Virginia. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.
Ya we’re all in for a treat every time she’s on screen . When she looks into the lens it’s like we’re all having a private moment with her and she’s speaking directly to me or you or whomever is watching and I think that’s pretty special ! I have to scroll back sometimes because I get caught up just looking at her and I’m stuck like in a dream lol ! She can take your breath away and then when I breath again it’s like I’ve died and gone to heaven ! Then I realize that I have died over and over and over again 🤩 !!!
Something so simple yet poignant and beautiful. It is not only the words of this letter but also Jodie’s talent and raw emotion that make you believe every word she says. Almost as if this “squeal of pain” was hers. So extraordinary.
Damn you. I did not come here to cry on a wasteful Friday evening. Lonely and bored as heck. It's Pride Month as of today 21st June 2024. So Happy Pride Month to you all beautiful humans. 💛🙈✌️🏳️🌈
this is so well done... she nailed it like always. I'd listen to jodie read the phone book. i love her voice and LOVE that full on scouse. i hope she considers doing more readings during lockdown. or a radio play? ooof... id kill for a radio play about now!
such an achingly beautifully written letter. it makes one miss feeling something as intensely for another person. thank you for this. happy pride! 🏳️🌈
Thank you for this beautiful reading. You are an amazing actress. Your portrayal of Villanelle is brilliant. You give me hope in an increasingly dangerous, hostile world. Much love to you, Jodie. You rock!😍👍🌟💃
Finally, she appeared, and as usual is crashing everything with her talent! I loved it! I miss you and love you so much, Jodie! Also thanks for your support to the lgbtqi + community, we appreciate it :). Much love from Brazil
I have written letters like this, in my thoughts to many a new acquaintance, whom I have carried in my thoughts for sometime. Lovely your interpretation. Love is universal. Richard
It was my birthday recently and I got a card from my parents (because I like killing eve) with villanelle as the clown saying "I would kill for some birthday cake". 🤦♀️......Oh yeah I forgot to say that she is amazing.
I love you so much Jodie! Everytime you do sometimes it's like an intense shower of emotions after a bad day. Please keep on shining, and don't give a shit about those fucking haters out there. Love is love for everyone :)
Looking straight at the camera was a dirty move and yet I am grateful for this near death experience.
omg I can relate
LMAO
honestly same
Damn you Villanelle sneaking up on us ...
@@MicelPena the power of that casual lift of eyebrows and sudden eye widening lol
The money I would pay just to sit and watch Jodie Comer read every single one of these letters.
sounds like fantastic idea for another theater performance
*As a someone whose always identified as a straight woman* -- I've never been more attracted to someone in my life.
She has the power
YESSSSSSS THATS IT

Now 25 people. Must be 12, Helene and team.
I'm a simple girl, I see jodie comer and I immediately like it
How she breaks character in less than 0.3 seconds is beyond me. Jodie Comer you are a gift to the acting world. Protect her at all cost.🙌🏼
"But you have broken down my defenses. And I don’t really resent it."
I felt that.
Seriously. Powerful
Ignoring that I'm biased, how can one NOT fall in love with her every time she shows us the art of performance and acting.
I could fall asleep to her voice. I was really upset once so I watched interviews with her and Suranne Jones and that’s what I call brilliant. Did you watch Killing Eve? One of the best shows I’ve ever watched. Anything with Suranne Jones or Jodie Comer is an absolute masterpiece🔥
agree
The way she literally "blinked" out of character - wow!
That blew my mind
if they make another movie about vita and virginia, jodie comer must be vita
Then who is virginia hmmm
@@rugma1696 I'd be ok with Jodie playing both. 1 Jodie in a frame is good, imagine 2

who else is considering legally changing their name to Virginia after watching this?
Hahahahaha
Best decision of my life.

Only you
I was gonna be Idaho, but you could be right.
“the more you have to offer as a person, the better you are as an actress. acting is really just giving”
@utbe24 I dont know if you know this, but the quote is from the "Talking Heads" episode that Jodie did. Its really good, you should give it a watch :)
Jodie Comer is a powerful, authentic actress. This brought me to tears. She seems a sweet person. I hope she is shielded from horrible people.
i was so sucked into that performance and then suddenly she jumped back into being jodie like nothing even happened 😂💜
Я угораю😂
How can not the whole planet be in love with her!?!?
It’s hard to imagine someone is so full of hate that they would Thumbs down on the amazingly talented Jodie Comer.
There was this hysterical woman ranting on Twitter, I’m guessing it must be her.
Probably accidentally hit it. It happens when you are watching the content not the lower screen
just seeing her face makes me so emo omg catch me full on sobbing after this
The rare acting talent of Jodie Comer + the beautiful prose of Vita = Goosebumps ❤️
jodie is pure and talented. britain is lucky to have her as an actress. Honestly, i love her charming accent, It’s so authentic.
"it is incredible how essential to me you have become." oh my goodness that line is swoon worthy
Oh, the writing back then was so eloquent, gorgeous and emotional. We can't lose that art.
What just happened?!! 😳 Her voice just hypnotized me..no joke.
