Much like Jodie Comer's read of Vita to Virginia, this was also quite spectacular. Thanks, Amnesty International, UK. This was lovely.
I was transported to an entirely different world just now. Superb
Beautiful reading of Virginia's letter by Nicola and perfect compliment to Jodie's reading; thank you both so very much, this wonderful love is needed at this terrible time .
These are so incredibly beautiful. The passion and intimacy in these letters is breathtaking in their power, and I can't help but be thankful to Nicola and Jodie for bringing these to life with an energy that would make even the coldest heart flutter ❤️
OH MY GOD MY TWO FAVES READING THIS SAPPHIC LETTER
i loved so much all of this. The Jodie Comer interpretation of Vita's letter and the response letter from Virginia played by Nicola Coughlan... it was just perfect and magical and filled me with feelings
ugh this made me cry. innocent woman-woman love has been bashed in so many patriarchal and religious circles... thank you for this.
Thanks for reading this girls, I absolutely love this letter between Virginia and Vita, I've read it many times. It reveals so much about their relationship, it's truly timeless. Vita was self conscious about Virginia's wit, Virginia wasn't even aware that she had it. She so effortlessly articulated herself in an eloquent manner at all times, and was fiercely intelligent. Not to say that Vita wasn't (she was also a writer), but she was more abrasive and blunt by nature and Virginia came from a lower class so it was unexpected of her to articulate herself so brilliantly.
Is Miss Coughlan an actress or a hypnotist? I'm mesmerised. Jodie's great but Nicola has that extra inch guess it's the Irish accent.
I imagine they deliberately did it like that. Perhaps it was an accident, but I would be surprised.
Nicola is a dreadfully underrated actress. More please.
Thank you!!!! Beautiful reading, I had never read those. What a gift!

How do you say it in English?
I don't know, but losing the e, makes it sound a labour camp.
Might sound petty to some. It is the words, the ones we know that NO. There are 15 yr kids in LA with no more than 500 word vocabulary. Talk to her.
Ahh! Derry Girls
Amazing!
I love it.s2
Virginia Woolf was quite the word smith 🥰

I wish I could turn the subtitles off. I find them distracting.
Puta book across the bottom of the screen ! I love subtitles because I find it hard to process speech in real time.
