@@gallantsteel8542 Well actually. They were the same drone. DONT YOU SEE! The Adfx-11 had a secondary Flight system that allowed it to discard it's main Wepon platform and continue flying. Hence the line. "It discarded it's wings!" Thier still technically the same two drones.

I'd like to say that AC7's protag is the most Anime Superhuman of all the AC protags thus far- His entire thing is that he's more skilled and able to react faster(sort of canonically in an F22) than AI superplanes that have instant reactions and learn from every opponent they face, and base their own software off of both the Protag and his nemesis ace.
Not only that but he’s able to singlehandedly take down entire warships, as well as an ace pilot which is what all the drones flight data is based off, and just recks entire squadrons of planes without much help.
Hearing this...and eating a Twinkie......that was the most beautiful Twinkie I’ve ever eaten, like it was a gift from God himself And than I was upset when I finished it
Really? I thought halfway through your Twinkie would've broken in half and you'd have to chase the other bit through your house before exiting up the chimney.
1:48 Synthesized bass- Mage Squadron Drums- Spare Squadron Piano- Strider Squadron Men’s chorus- Mihaly, your sworn enemy throughout the game who is now on your side in heart. The main motif- represents how far trigger has come since the first mission where it was first played. Man this is so good
Who knows what trigger was fighting for here? To stop the war, to keep UAVs out of the sky, to make sure strider squadron doesn’t die, to finally earn his redemption, or maybe just to keep flying? We might never know. That’s the magic of Ace Combat games we ARE the ace pilot and we can choose his motives and what drives him.
Torres was saying that Trigger lacks drive? He's totally wrong. His drive comes from wanting peace, making sure his teammates don't die, wanting to end the war, and basically be the John Connor of the skies. *gasps out of realization*
Okay. He doesn't talk for no reason. Namco makes the main character never talk because YOU are the main character. So, which of those would be your motivation?
"he knows what drives me, what I believe. That being a good soldier comes down to one thing, one single question: what are you prepared to sacrifice." -Crysis 3
I remember being a teen a decade ago playing Ace Combat 4, now I’m a fighter pilot with the RCAF. I played this on PC, and it is a true return to form for the Ace Combat series. Not to mention I teared up remembering the emotions I once felt playing.
Congrats on living the dream! Thought that was going to be my path for a while but... eh, things don't always work out in life. Hope your skies are clear and you get all the hours you want in the 35s when 2026 finally comes around.
@queenlilac7608 thank you! Hey, if there's one thing I've learned in life is to never give up on your dreams. There's plenty of other ways to fly the great deep blue we call the sky.
I love how so many of the songs in this soundtrack have the same motif to them. Makes it feels like it's Trigger's theme. Not even Trigger, but the player themselves.
@@Hall. I'm talking about the Leitmotif of each character's theme. Daredevil is the best representation of the AC7's theme. First heard in Drag Racer, Charge Assault....etc etc. Hush is more like Chandelier, Megalith, or Final Launch. With elements of it.... but it doesnt feel like it's the main focus. I might also add, Daredevil is the only track which concludes the entire melody, where as all the other tracks leave it incomplete.
You must stop Hugin and Munin. They do not know it, but their actions could incite Ragnorok itself, as their descendants raze the land to win a war that will never end. They do not care. They only seek victory. But their Victory will destroy all we have ever worked for. So go, Trigger. They look to you to save them. So save them. Save them all.
I am so glad they brought back Keiki Kobayashi for this soundtrack. It is on par with the soundtracks from the Holy Trinity. This along with Daredevil and Archange are top tier even among songs like The Unsung War, Zero and Megalith in my opinion.
Unfortunately, In Ace Combat strange real, this unmanned aircraft is another issue that leads to the next generation of war in the future. thus, this music looks irony and sorrow of the dark future. many people wanted to make war more peacefully than now and past, like president Haring and Dr. Schroeder. but the war never changes after all.
Its ironic, as soon as I heard this song my mind recognized it, but I couldn't figure it out. Then it hit me, this reminds me of not only the final mission tracks for the previous AC games, but it also reminded me of Id: Purpose(Final song of Fire Emblem awakening). It's like every final track has to convey this feeling of triumph. And they succeeded.

In a way, the Space Elevator should also represent the World Tree Yggdrasil from Norse mythology. Think about it, the World Tree is a source of life for all living things that inhabit the land. Usea uses the Space Elevator as one of it's main sources of power. It all makes perfect sense.

Then after beating the game about two days later I read a comment saying something about ZOE being the final boss was fitting. I was like, "ZOE... I heard that before..." So after looking it up on acepedia it was the final boss plane in ac2 (I never played or watched much of the ps1 titles) At that point I thought "Oh man! That is so cool!" Needless to say, I appreciated this mission far more after that haha. I feel like such a fake fan for not initially knowing what ZOE was. :(

Kind of spoiled myself since I read up on it, but I really should just watch a playthrough or something haha.
This is my favourite song in the series. Zero and the others are really epic and they are very fitting as final boss songs and in their repective games the story is about fighting for what you think is right, and therefore the songs are about heroism and bravery Ace Combat 7 is very similar in a lot of ways to the other Ace Combats, but Hush change the tone at the very end of the game. The story is no longer about justice or peace, but about a stone faced monster that can´t care about anything except fullfilling the purpose it was created for, which is spreading death and destruction. The song reflects the nature of your enemies with the multiple horror vibes in it, having a climax that is about uncertainty, because you may destroy it here, but what was built can be built again.
my very first time listening to this song gave me motivation to complete a seemingly impossible task at the end of the game those twists and turns you cant even compete with but this song gives you enough motivation to go after hugin and munin more agressively this song makes you see the end of the war. keiki kobayashi can add this to his list of masterpieces because this is an amazing song Project Aces is very blessed to have a composer like Kobayashi. bravo Project Aces hopefully an 8th Ace Combat comes out in the future but for now lets enjoy the ones we have now

ZOE is Ace Combat with less physics. Not "Just AC with less physics," nor does the ZOE supercede either. They are both their own thing. Yet they intertwine many of us into being fans of both, depending on the era. Indeed, it was me viewing in person a demonstration of the PS2 and specifically Zone Of Enders that sold me on the generation (or at least, to get a PS2, since I did still get Nintendo systems too). @Charles Swanson II the Belkan scientist (i forgot his name RIP) only gave them the orders to fly out and win the war. This 'winning the war' was calculated by the drones to spread their data across drone factories. Pretty much, if they weren't stopped right there, there would be thousands of rogue ADF-11Fs with Mihaly (and possibly Trigger) data who are self adapting and will not stop killing anything near them until Osea was burnt to a crisp. You could say that that was Belka's plan all along, but even the scientist regretted it in the end. A LOT of people were going to die, and the war would never end, since there would always be some resistant forces in Osea.

Unfortunately they just don't know when to quit. They'd simply keep attacking until all 'enemies' are eradicated. And in a total war, there are no civilians. Only targets. They'll keep fighting until the countries that fought against the Belkans are little more than burned wasteland, smoldering rubble, and a shattered and broken people.
Nemo notwithstanding due to being a better AI than what trigger fought
Not only that but he’s able to singlehandedly take down entire warships, as well as an ace pilot which is what all the drones flight data is based off, and just recks entire squadrons of planes without much help.

1:48 Synthesized bass- Mage Squadron
Drums- Spare Squadron
Piano- Strider Squadron
Men’s chorus- Mihaly, your sworn enemy throughout the game who is now on your side in heart.
The main motif- represents how far trigger has come since the first mission where it was first played.
Man this is so good
I didn't even realize this, but I love how the smallest instrument in music can easily make a huge symbol.
A veteran back in the skies. That's who Trigger is.
My headcannon is that Trigger was bloodlusty, in both mage and spare, but during the last 4 missions, he just wanted it to end.
Okay.
He doesn't talk for no reason.
Namco makes the main character never talk because YOU are the main character.
So, which of those would be your motivation?

I love how so many of the songs in this soundtrack have the same motif to them. Makes it feels like it's Trigger's theme. Not even Trigger, but the player themselves.
Each Ace Combat game's OST motif reflects their aces, hence why each is different.
Heaven's Gate = Mobius 1
Razgriz = Blaze
Zero = Cipher

Daredevil is the best representation of the AC7's theme. First heard in Drag Racer, Charge Assault....etc etc.

In case you didn't not notice they will have DLC planes on AC7
Luckily they aren't some really op pay-to-win BS.
There are currently 9, in order they are:

I sometimes wonder from all the sounds during mission 20, I wonder if they weren't trying to form a more broader intelligence. I know they ran on AI, bit some of the sounds were crazy.

When i play the last missions and see the beautiful view of the sky just i start to cry, i feel totally free flying with my aircraft. I dont know why but i feels everything in my heart.
Damn... those stupid pieces of junk won't be shot down so easily.
2:41 I didn't know they brought in Hans Zimmer for this track!
You don't need Hans to make musical greatness like this
This makes me want to salute. Just salute.
This game made me cry when I beat it. It is such a phenomenal game. I cry every time I beat it.
In my eyes this is way better than daredevil it just has this feeling of no second chances and your our last hope
The first 90 seconds are the best part of this track.
Ace combat back to be on the top games in our heart .. long time waiting this shit to happen ... am greatful

SOUND THE ALARM!
A soundtrack that can boost up your strength & energy
"Perfect movement... Just like Mihaly's..."
Zero may have been the best theme for a final fight against a human opponent, but this theme captures the soullessness of the robot apocalypse harbinger.
Is it me or does some of this music sound like HTTYD music mixed with Ace Combat music?
at 6:22 is where it sounds a bit like HTTYD music.

what's HTTYD?

The allies that got shot down were fluttering about and didn't stick to Trigger's ass.
Maybe Trigger should stop treating them like a newborn chick. They've shot down their fair share of enemies.
Chirp chirp chirp little chick. Maybe they should stick with Trigger, their mother hen, and they'll get back to the roost safe and sound.
Skoll Leader: Skoll Leader to Long Caster. UAVs confirmed in direction of travel.
AWACS Long Caster: All aircraft, converge on Skoll Squadron. Surround and shoot 'em down!
Strider 3 RIME: Let's do it, KAFU!
Cyclops 1 KAFU: Okay.
AWACS Long Caster: UAV reacting. Damn, they're fast. All aircraft, stay sharp!
(drones start talking in unintelligible beeps and static noises)
Salamander 3: NO! I've lost control! EJEC-- (static)
Skoll Leader: Skoll 2, get out there!
Skoll 2: This is Skoll 2. I'm hit! I'm hit! My engine... (static)
AWACS Long Caster: Salamander 3, Skoll 2 lost! Dammit, that was quick!
Osean Fighter: I've never seen anyone fly this fast. Provide support! (static)
AWACS Long Caster: Friendly lost! Another confirmed down.
WXS Miku: Aw, come on!
MMJ Rin: We got quite a few VIPPERs with us...
Ritsu: And a few Cryptons, too.
KAFU: What about the Musical Isotopes?
25 Miku: Where we are from is not what matters. The only one important thing is knowing our real enemy. Isn't that right?
AWACS Long Caster: Affirmative. I think everybody here knows the score. We all know who to follow. Commence mission! All aircraft, follow Trigger!
L/n Miku: Roger that.
MMJ Miku: Okay.
VBS Miku: Yes.

WXS Rin: Yeah.
25 Rin: Alright.
Teto: Wilco.
Ritsu: Right.
Ruko: Understood.
Tei: Alright.
AWACS Long Caster: The Space Elevator is able to broadcast and communicate. With the information infrastructure down, it's the only place capable of wide-area data transmission. The drones are waiting for it to power up again.
Ruko: Those cheeky little...
25 MEIKO: Sol 2! Evade, dammit!
25 Luka: Perfect moves... like Mafuyu's-- (static)
AWACS Long Caster: Sol 2 lost! She was a good one, too!
25 MEIKO: Luka, dammit!
MMJ Rin: Come on!
as Sol 2 once said: drone fighters don't belong in the blue. They have no place in the cosmos of the skies.
Machines such as A.I never betrays human.
They just obey and do exactly to the human's order.
And the rest of the world, under these drones ever present eyes looking to destroy any sign of hostility.
It would be peace, a quiet and cold peace. One with no hope, no joy, a peace filled with fear and dread.
Valmanway Kruz ,I think you're wrong, human...
Salamander 3:
The beginning sounds so much like mass effect
Yeah, "Infiltration" from ME:2 in particular...
Titan Noire Oh god, Ace Combat crossed with Mass Effect would be _crazy._ Shepard the ace, taking down Reapers single-handedly with just a fighter.
@@jimmyseaver3647 Or even better, A seperate mission where Joker fights off the Reapers in earth's orbit while commander Shepard leads the final assault in London during the final mission xD
Atulya Isn't that the final mission in ME3 anyway?
@@jimmyseaver3647 Umm yeah, but we don't really control Joker and The Normandy while he fights, do we now? I thought it'd be cool if we could. Though I'm pretty happy with the trilogy as it is :)
FLY FAST FUNNY FULCRUM
This soundtrack makes you see the end of the war.
Know what I see? You in solitary! Lol
These extended videos are underrated
Great track, easily ranks up there with The Unsung War, Megalith, and ZERO.
One thing I'm not too fond of is the inclusion of the "Rising Hollywood Violins" @ 1:35 and especially 2:35. I've heard that sound being used so much in shitty movie soundtracks to add artificial suspense, it's so annoying to hear in an amazing track as this. Still, it's not enough to ruin it for me.
I think it's a good bit of music if pulled off well. It's a very heavy handed sound so it complements the feeling of finality.
Guess you can say it's as artificial as the enemy you fight in the mission?
😏
lmao my teacher's baby is younger than this game
*Me, listening to Daredevil:* “These Ace Combat final boss songs just keep getting better and better. That final stage was aweso--"

Man, hearing this theme while fighting the ZOE ADF-11s was the best thing ever. Has that feeling like there are no second chances.
Also this seems like it would fit perfectly into League of Legends either as Champ Select for Worlds or as some sort of Demacian skin line.
They are NOT ZOE ADF-11s. THEY ARE HUGIN AND MUNIN! ZOE's color scheme is red and has always been red. The ADF-11s you're fighting are black, so they're Grunder Industries property.
Hansen Sebastian they are indeed ZOE drones. ZOE just refers to the AI that controls them. Besides, Grunder made the ZOE drones
My theme is the best, DON'T YOU THINK?!
