@@mustaproductionsperez6726 I feel weird that I actually can't stand chandelier. I love all the other ace combat OST's but chandelier makes my ear bleed.
This song is so amazing, for me personally this is the best soundtrack in the entire already amazing Ace Combat OST. This song has a secret meaning and it's marvelously composed. The first part represent a coming danger the bpm is constant and keeps getting higher, there's no way to stop it, the metals announce something omnipotent something big is coming out. The bpm keeps it pace, we can't do anything to stop it. And until the Stonehenge part in the history that's true you can only run for your life... The rest of the instruments begin creating an eerie atmosphere. This could be the representation of the drones. Always by the side of the Arsenal Bird. But then something changes a lonely vocal appears the BPM in the back became a little quieter this vocal represents hope, this vocal represent the player. After that the atmosphere starts again, there's no way to stop it, getting louder and louder. Another Chorus appears this one represent the voice of destruction. Finally all the parts clash!! A battle begins. All the instruments compete to gain the protagonism. But the louder element is the vocal. Hope is getting louder. Finally silence. Echoes only.... The giant behemoth dissapears in the ocean. Never to return. He has been defeated.
On everything. This franchise is my childhood. And it exceeded all my expectations. I'm so happy it came out. Every mission was a joy. And this mission and music straight up put chill down my spine. If the producers of the game are reading this. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have made my life so much better just experiencing this game. I love you all. This game was AMAZING
I love how in this game, the Erusions developed and focused on cyber warfare and drones, instead of the use of a super weapon. It's like they knew that a super weapon would only be destroyed by another top ace pilot. So they instead focused on improving the Z.O.E ai by using flight data from the ace killer Mihaly, banking on the idea that mass produced advanced drones would overcome any top ace, even mobius 1.
Well if the history of strangereal is anything to go by, superweapons only work in a first strike situation, afterwards they are large targets too big to project against a surgical counterattack once the enemy knows where to hit
@@spartansilverteam they are automated armored flying aircraft carriers with alright anti air defense. In a sense they are what an actual aircraft carrier represents to a small nation in the real world. You think you got control of the skies then this weapon system rolls in and pretty much swarms your aerial superiority while being rather difficult to truly hit without killing yourself. Granted the drones the arsenal bird are given seem to lack bombing and personnel insertion and extraction capabilities but it's still a fairly considerable piece of military power projection to reckoned with
There was the moment when the Arsenal Bird's APS shield was perma active. Along with Count i was also saying "Disappear" as i also heard Cossette smashing the console. The moment it went down and the theme dropped i became filled with righteous fury and relief that *NOW was the time to take that fowl behemoth of a bird down* God i love ACE COMBAT
Yeah, you’ll literally play it a good 6 times over just to get to the end and hear this song over and over and OVER again. And it’s worth it every time.
I think the game got delayed because the producesr were like, "We need one last song that just draws out the emotions of everyone." The result? Daredevil.
I remember this one distinctly. I had just bought the F-22, fully stocked with AAM's. Had no clue what was awaiting me until this started blaring through the speakers and the only thing I could see were drones. So. Many. Drones.
@@brendanrisney2449 I'm so glad I'm not the only one who caught that. Count was the only guy (I guess besides Trigger) to have a radio in his cockpit. So while he's being "Cuckoo Count" and shouting at the shield to go away, Cosette is smashing the markers. Also why he called it "a scam" when Huxian asked what magic he just worked. Truly a nice little detail that I really appreciated once I noticed it on my later playthroughs, but it really is something that can be easily overlooked.
Honestly. This song while riding my motorcycle feels so good. It's not the same as a jet feeling but goodness this track is amazing. Good god this song is amazing.

I’ll be honest with you, this song really doesn’t fit with any other game. Megalith is meant to give you chills, meant to make you feel fear and intimidation. Daredevil is just “oh look, shield’s down, whoopie”. Megalith fit perfectly with 4 because of how vast and powerful the facility was, and how destructive it would be if it launched its missiles. And for the love of god don’t put Daredevil where it definitely doesn’t belong
No other game, not even Star Fox mowing down fleets single handedly. Ever made me feel like an ace behind the control stick of a fighter like Ace Combat games. In the end, were all that pilot with the three stripes!
When you close your eyes in bliss and all you can see is a sea of green boxes, some of them with TGT in red above them... I might be getting a bit of Tetris Effect...
This is by far my second favorite track in the game just hearing the track build up from 0:00 to 3:06 then the voices ramping up the intensity of the track from 3:06 to 3:12 then hearing the buildup finally pay off at 3:14 with the voices harmonizing then leading up all the way to 3:55, combined with the gameplay and flying and not just that mission in particular but just when your flying combine that experience with this sound track and you get some other worldly experience that I’m sure this is the only game where I felt as if I had a sense of freedom, the sky was all I had and all I needed, to feel that sense of freedom, just dodging missiles, hearing: missile, missile, missile, and striking down other jets, ground targets and the bosses whether it’s Mihaly or the arsenal bird or the two adf 11s or just free flight, this game makes me feel a sense of joy and freedom so strong that when I finished the campaign for the first time as I saw the credits I felt that sense of freedom slip away sadly locked behind a game. Just when think the track can get more intense from 3:57 to 4:30 it gets more intestine and the feeling of freedom and just being able to fly gets stronger and stronger. Me emotions for this game are peaking, I might even feel tears start forming. Somehow the soundtrack manages to get even more intense and intense and my emotions stronger and stronger and the music more intense going from 4:30 to 4:40 and I reach the peak and my emotions, might even start crying with tears full of emotion flowing down my face and my feelings are all over the place and rn at that moment all I know is that I want to keep flying, keep going up, towards the dark blue sky. when the music starts slowing down and stops, just like the feeling freedom leaving my body after the experience is over and I’m returned to my boring 15 year old life, and my moment to escape into another reality where I feel free is closed.
I was playing the multiplayer in Ace Combat 7 the other day and joined a battle royale match. Then Agnus Dei started playing as the actual background music of the match and I nearly cried. It was so beautiful and brought back great memories of Ace Combat 4.
To be fair, as far as I've ever been able to tell.. Agnus Dei is the leitmotif of the entire franchise. It would be a shame to hide that song in a 15+ year old game.
I remember listening to this while i was writing my thesis back in 2019. Whenever i felt exhausted, whenever i was stressed out, whenever i thought i couldnt make it in time for the deadline... This song always cheered me up. I bought my first AC game when it came out in '95, when i was 4 years old, and i never stopped playing this marvelous franchise. Thanks for existing Ace Combat
The chills when you hear this song for the first time is unreal. It was completely unexpected and it made me feel invincible. Jaeger: this is something I’ll tell my son about
Mihaly might be gone, but he taught Trigger, what he didnt taught no young pilot before. His Ways to fight like an Ace, and to value his allies as well as his enemies alike
This has got to be one of the best ultimate battle themes in the Ace Combat lore! I too began to cry when the music crescendos as the Arsenal Bird's APS shield was broken. To the Osean Federation, the peacekeepers of the Strangereal world! Blaze would be proud of you, Trigger! Your sins have been absolved.

i remember listening to the ace combat soundtrack while playing Arena Commander in Star Citizen, this music came on in the final wave where i fought a hammerhead in a light fighter without backup. as the chorus was about to end i had ran out of all my shields, ammo and missiles so i set cruise control, ejected and rammed it at 600m/s, killing it just as the chorus ended. that feeling of floating in deep space surrounded by nothing but debris was truly something. needless to say, i really wanna get Ace Combat now

The missions in the ace combat series are so intense that I can't even understand what people are saying over the radio or even know how good the soundtrack is until I listen to it alone.
OK, here is my ranking of Kobayashi's "big tracks" in the franchise: 1.- "The Unsung War" 2.- "ZERO" 3.- "The Liberation of Gracemeria" 4.- "Daredevil" 5.- "Megalith" 6.- "Dogfight" I haven't played AC7 yet (I plan to buy it on Steam), so the position of "Daredevil" may change when I finally do. We'll see. What I can say is that Kobayashi hasn't lost his touch one bit in the last 8 years. Yes, I know "ZERO" is usually considered the best, but "Unsung War" has far more emotional weight for me. Although "ZERO" is not far behind (plus, I'm from Spain, so the Flamenco-like style of the track is definitely a bonus lol). Oh, and even though it's on the last spot, I still LOVE "Dogfight". I enjoyed "Assault Horizon" A LOT, and I think the level of hatred it got was just ridiculous.
Can't speak for others, but my thing is that whether or not Assault Horizon was a bad game it didn't feel like Ace Combat; it took control out of the player's hands too often, forcing linear pursuits like you'd find in Star Fox or some other rail-shooter. Star Fox is a fun game, but it's not what I play Ace Combat for.
@@9specter528I dunno, I played Joint Assault and I enjoyed the unique plot. I hated the operator and the real world setting though. Can you explain to me why Joint Assault is so bad even when compared to Assault Horizon?
The music of this series is up there with Doom, half-life and the occasional CoD on how amazing they can get a soundtrack to push the player to even further feats of badass, while making us feel for the world around us. R.I.P those who came before us forever dancing in the Dark Blue.
You know I've always looked forward to every AC game for those final songs. This one took years to grow on me, as I quickly dismissed it at first. But really, I think it's up there with the best of them. I haven't been able to stop listening to this for at least half an hour a day for a few weeks straight.
It took a while to grow on me as well, but only because thematically this feels like it was supposed to be the actual last mission of the game. Meanwhile, it's mission #19 of 20, and #20 is a bit lackluster. I feel it might have served the game better to take the second-half of mission 20 (chasing after the small drone into the Lighthouse) and paste it onto the end of this mission, and ended it there. Or heck, I hate to say this because I know "flying through a narrow tunnel at the climactic end of the game" is part of the Ace Combat trademark, but maybe the game would have been just a little bit better for not having mission 20 at all. But mission 19 is well and truly excellent - a masterpiece of a final mission (even if it isn't the *actual* final mission) that AC is also known for.
Aah yes the continents of Osea, usea, Erusea and Belka. Brings back so many good memories of Ace Combat 4 and ace combat zero, the belkan war. But seriously this track is beautiful. If it wasn’t for the track 'zero' then this would be my favourite.
Man imagine the last Ace Combat game has like a final battle scene similar to the Independence Day movie then all aces from all countries form up for one final assault while this OST is playing

That's right buddy, every game has "That Song" Megalith, The Unsung War, Zero, Liberation of Gracemeria, Blue Skies infinity Remix and now? Daredevil buddy. Every time you listen to this song remember, Stick with Trigger and you'll make it.
This song has saved my life basically. When I feel like I'm gonna give up, I just put this on and take a chance.
Edit: Just to be clear, I'm talking about writing 8 page papers in like 2 hours... :)
Same man. Most of us AC7 fans are aces that want to conquer the skyes of life.

No way. You still have Zero and Chandelier to deal with. Theme is awesome nonetheless of course, like always.

Every mission was
a joy.
Would you consider the Arsenal Birds super weapons though?
@@spartansilverteam they are automated armored flying aircraft carriers with alright anti air defense. In a sense they are what an actual aircraft carrier represents to a small nation in the real world. You think you got control of the skies then this weapon system rolls in and pretty much swarms your aerial superiority while being rather difficult to truly hit without killing yourself. Granted the drones the arsenal bird are given seem to lack bombing and personnel insertion and extraction capabilities but it's still a fairly considerable piece of military power projection to reckoned with

This is the [Usung war/Megalith/Zero/Liberation of Gracemeria] of AC7
You mean Chandelier To All Things?
Surely how could you discount Archange? Or Faceless Soldier?
No other game, not even Star Fox mowing down fleets single handedly. Ever made me feel like an ace behind the control stick of a fighter like Ace Combat games. In the end, were all that pilot with the three stripes!
yet what is a soundtrack? without this soundtrack
When you close your eyes in bliss and all you can see is a sea of green boxes, some of them with TGT in red above them... I might be getting a bit of Tetris Effect...
Time for me to do another play through of the game!
3:14 Angel descended from heaven to end the war
I was playing the multiplayer in Ace Combat 7 the other day and joined a battle royale match. Then Agnus Dei started playing as the actual background music of the match and I nearly cried. It was so beautiful and brought back great memories of Ace Combat 4.
To be fair, as far as I've ever been able to tell.. Agnus Dei is the leitmotif of the entire franchise. It would be a shame to hide that song in a 15+ year old game.
3:13:When that happened I was like "It's shield is down! Commence attack on the Arsenal Bird!"

OK, here is my ranking of Kobayashi's "big tracks" in the franchise:
1.- "The Unsung War"
2.- "ZERO"
3.- "The Liberation of Gracemeria"
4.- "Daredevil"
5.- "Megalith"
6.- "Dogfight"
I haven't played AC7 yet (I plan to buy it on Steam), so the position of "Daredevil" may change when I finally do.
I mean in regards to Assault Horizon, it's certainly better than fucking Joint Assault.
There's many big tracks out there! Diapason, Avalon (both most the same motiff), Glatisant, Ice Cage, Emancipation, etc. Kobayashi is the shit man!
Aside from complaints about gameplay, the soundtrack for Assault Horizon is _excellent._
