This is such a great video! I'm gonna try these tips this coming weekend with my grandson! I have a question for Erin-can you share your camera settings for the shot you did when your son was running toward you? And also, do you typically shoot using the live view rather than looking through the viewfinder? Thanks!! You girls are awesome!😊
Awesome. These are great! How do you set your camera to keep the kids in focus when they are walking or running toward you? I have such a hard time with that.
@@moondancer0904 A setting called Contiguous Shooting. When you press the shutter the camera keeps taking pictures until you take your finger off the shutter. There is high and slow speed settings. I usually use the mode for sports.
We do shoot in LIVE view with our mirrorless camera, but not our DSLR. The mirrorless is super nice because it is quick and we can tap the screen for focus. the DSLR is way too slow to use live view.
@@moondancer0904 we don’t use the live view with our dslr camera. Just our Mirrorless. Burst mode is setting your camera to snap as many images as in can in the quickest time when you hold down your shutter. It’s different settings for each camera.
I let them do a silly photo after the posed ones so they have something to look forward too and i make a silly face at the same time too, quickly after the silly one is say now nice smile and 9/10 get a real smile.
We don't have a family questionnaire, but a family posing guide. In the video description, you can find it. You might have to look by the video title and click the little down arrow to expand the description.
I haven't watched all of the video yet, maybe an answer will come later. But what to do when the parents want to photograph a toddler that REALLY doesn't want to take pictures? This happens to me all the time, every single time I have a photoshoot. The toddlers just don't listen, they scream and cry and no play or fun actually helps. And then they run off and we have to reschedule. The kids in this video do everything you ask, that's a dream scenario that just won't happen to me. 😂
Thanks for tuning in today!
I love the real session like videos......and then showing the after edits! Keep up the good work! I will continue to watch!
Yay!! Thank you. We just came out with full courses on the behind the scenes content today too if you’re interested at all. ❤️

They’re so cute! Thank you for the video. Have you done preschool school pictures?

Hi! Love it! Where can I find the guide? 😍
You will need to tap the little arrow by the video title to see more and find it.
What were your outdoor camera settings?
Do you use burst mode when the kids are walking? Some really nice poses that I'll be using.
Yes!
What is "burst mode"?

Adorable. ❤great prompts cooperation and flexibility
Emily, do you shoot in live view? Or is that just for photo shoots with kids ?
We do shoot in LIVE view with our mirrorless camera, but not our DSLR. The mirrorless is super nice because it is quick and we can tap the screen for focus. the DSLR is way too slow to use live view.
Tips to use if you do not have live view option on an old dslr cannon?
