So now after 2 games kyrie isn’t a great driver to the basket,isn’t a elite tough shot maker,doesnt get to the free throw line because he plays soft and not because the refs giving him the superstar whistle?

Brooklyn Kyrie played with so much more contact and was so much more consistent from 3. And that was really his prime and covid and Giannis wasted that mans peak.

He didn't really find good shots, it's because he was faster and more explosive meaning he could get to the rim easier, whilst playing in a less defensive era

kyrie is a career 23 ppg scorer on 46 percent from the field and 39 percent from three. he is not the level of scorer that luka and others are in the playoffs. heck he isn't even jason tatum in the playoffs in terms of scoring. tatum has averaged 30 in the playoffs before. kyrie has never averaged more than 26.
Stop hating. Kyrie a better scorer than Tatum.
& also 46% & 39% are good percentages.

Kyrie, curry, Kobe are the 3 best tough shot makers, they also force shots more than other great scorers, which is why they have some terrible shooting games in the playoffs.

I mean you have jrue holiday, derick white, and jalen brown guarding you, three athletic and elite on ball defenders that excell at guarding smaller players. Then you have jt who is a versatile and big wing defender and you have kp as a rim protector and you have teammates who dont knock down shots. Hell ye hes gonna struggle.

He's a 6'2 guard facing young and athletic and elite defenders at the age of 32 with limited floor spacing and without being as athletic or as big as them himself. Ofc he's gonna struggle. Plus his shot is also not falling like it usually does so he's struggling in that department asw

Everybody’s talking about Kyrie, like he ain’t that dude anymore but no one is pointing to coaching and why Dallas is not running any actions for Kyrie to get him going and some easy looks, he’s a rhythm player instead of relying on him to iso all game. offensively Dallas needs to keep the ball moving and push the pace in transition Play discipline defense. walking the ball up court ain’t going to beat Boston unless you have plenty of movement.
This problem didn't start in Dallas.
Kyrie is basically an iso player and rarely plays off ball. Plus the team outside of Luka and Kyrie are so ass you can’t really move the ball with them that much.

Kyrie gets a bad rep… what I think is hurting kyrie , is the way that Dallas plays with luka and Kyrie, there is no floor spacing , the best teams that hurt kyrie are teams that sag down when he puts the ball on the floor and since the mavs don’t have a true offense he has to settle for a tough shot … the lanes are clogged! We don’t expect luka to run a off ball screen if he doesn’t have the ball meaning there is on actions or play making with Kyrie , it’s iso ball with 0 spacing ! The way you stop kyrie is playing drop coverage. So it don’t matter how fast he really is bad spacing and 0 off ball movement shuts Kyrie down when he can’t hit those shots . Mavs need a new offense stop setting p&r with Jrue to Jayson Tatum and tell Kyrie to work all the time .
1-10 in difficulty The problem is Kyrie is his shot is already a 10 jrue white Tatum and brown is making it a 11 in difficulty
