Prince worked at Larrabee Recording studios while I was also working there in the 90s. He was really big and a superstar character. I remember him always dressed up like you wouldn't believe. He was very quiet, but intense. My best friend was a sound engineer on some of his stuff and he worked and worked and worked. He was a huge talent and the stuff that he didn't use was as incredible as the music he did put out. He would work day and night. I think he was producing some artists as well. I know that everyone really stood in awe of him. He was just not of this world...a real genius....

My mom would definitely echo your sentiments. She idolized him growing up in the ‘80s. I, myself, must say that he was absolutely original in his artistry. I was introduced to Prince on VH1 when I saw his music video for “Musicology.” In short, he was an incredible talent when it came to performing, writing, and singing.

Christine Paris I concur completely he grew up knowing what he wanted to do and he was very much influenced by his father and family, he never stopped learning his whole life and had great morals and work ethics I doubt superman could have kept up with, thing is, its results are still being played and will be for future generations. Prince could write songs in his sleep and find inspiration in a bag of potatoes, lol. Best talent I could ever imagine, ever, the man was a genius at birth. Probably wrote a song about THAT, lol. No telling what's still in store for the world, red beret indeed. In through the out door you sexy mrfk. We will just have to wait and see Christine Paris, and that is not easy. He was as diverse as they come, ughhhhhhhhhhhhh...........much love girl, and respect for a fellow fan. By the way, puns intended darlin.😎

I was surprised at the depth and range and beauty of some of them.... but after the revelation of his ‘author-ship’ of those songs, it became clear that his talent could not be denied.

There was plans to build. There is a room with 100 pairs of shoes. There is a restaurant. There is an show room with his concert attire, motorcycle, a car, a stage to perform, a huge screen to project and dance floor. There was a ping pong table and the Paddles were worn. Of course there is an amazing gift shop. I could feel his presence there. Going there was like paying tribute. It was great. It was also sad. He is really missed. ❤️
