3 creative tunings for LYRA-8

One of the fun things with the Lyra-8 is trying new tunings. Here’s three tunings I tried out last week.
Made an over the top intro. Doesn’t really fit my aesthetic, but i had a laugh making it..

Have you tried tuning it to the harmonic series? I think it would be more stable and the modulation between the oscillators would be a little more subtle/resonant.
Either way, cool video showing what the Lyra-8 can sound like when it is carefully tuned up. Thanks man!

Try half diminished (locrian flat 2nd).. super mysterious and lovely on the lyra.

I feel like my Lyra doesn't have such fast envelopes , even in fast mode the attack is still pretty long and the decay too , or is it a matter of tweaking?

I had the same problem. A friend of mine told me to experiment with the Hold knob. Around 11-12 o'clock usually gives me a little more attack.

@@andre_davies will have a fiddle around with the hold knob, I did but didn't get the results , more fiddlin will be needed! Thanks

@@endless_arps The amount of pressure counts, as well as the surface of the contactor covered by your finger for the attack...

on my lyra the hold knobs for each group react differently, the left one needs a little less for the same envelope. lick your fingers for even faster response ;)
