The living area would be so much nicer if you squared off the front instead of the wraparound porch.., just have a standard rectangular porch .. which would push the door out like 8 feet! That would give you room for a tv, etc where the chairs are now... and it would give you room for a small kitchen table where the front door swing is right now... so much more usable space..
I just bought a 12x40 storage shed to convert into a tiny home... It looks wa'ay bigger on the outside than the inside... Its hard for me to visualize fitting everything into that small of a space. Maybe a small living room, a small room, a small kitchen but another room, washer and dryer space, or a big enough bathroom, I can't see it! Is there any videos that show any that size already furnished with those things?
Lovely layout love the ground floor bedroom as opposed to having to climb steps cuz let's face it I'm not getting younger I'm 40 and now just considering something like this. Praying for a piece of Land so I can finish raising my teen son and hopefully start working on starting a cat rescue. With this layout my cats gets to have a loft all to themselves!! How much would a finished one like this run for a RTO?
Jacqueline id look up some rv ladders they use for the bunks. Im looking at this style cabin and thinking those would be perfect. Or could try making a ladder out of 2x4s. Then have a hook at the tops to hook into floor of the storage/bunk area up top.
I have one lofted barn cabin just like the one shown in this video. It was nothing inside and we are turning it into a tiny house and i was wondering that. I was going to make out of 2by4s but i will also look into the rv ladder as a secondary ladder. Thank you.
@@jacquelinef8244 your very welcome. Im in the process of getting one to. Im excited to start the project! I was an rv tech for 12 years, so going to try and hook it up more toward how a rv is wired up with 12 volt lighting also.
Cute but ultimately disappointing to me. The offset double kitchen sink made no functional sense. The unit has a gambrel roof, but still has crawlspace loft heights. And the 3/4 bathroom fixtures were clumped together, with no mention of storage. Since this video is at least 5 years old, maybe your layouts have developed. This unit does have a nice feel, but the devil is in the details. Sorry if this comment seems extra critical. I watched the video from the POV of someone who might live there.
that is not a full bath it is a 3/4 bath -- full bath has a shower/ tub, sink & toilet a 3/4 bath is a shower, toilet & sink and a 1/2 bath is just a sink and toilet just saying but this is nice thanks for showing it
We are getting something similar next week, I am so excited!!!☺
You should put prices down for people interested. It gives me an idea for someone like me that would pay cash money for it.

Where was the refrigerator?
Can you tell me the price on this finished cabin and what kind of a down payment you require?

Nice!
Can y'all make one with a full size deck? I'm trying to buy another one.
Just wondering how you would make stairs to go up to the top in this without the ladder getting in the way
