They did, it was the original slow stick then they discontinued them, Of course this model is not the same it's better. I don't know why all models with negative camber wings have been pulled off the market. Now the sell you computer controlled gyro flight systems and flaps and slats to make your plane slow. It's stupid, just engineer a plane to fly docile with a negative cambered wing and some dihedral and loose all the electronic crap. The old fogy balsa types of the 60's flew great, "Buddy" kits and some older SIG's no gadgetry just a design to fly slow and easy. There gone now unless you want to scratch build a balsa model dug up from someones attic and pay 300 dollars for the prints and precut parts. no electrics. Some guys are buying replacement curved wings for a glider and having luck making a slow flier from them.
Haha! A car drove over my first Slowstick. Only way I could see to repair it was to cut 3" off the smashed right wing tip, and that meant cutting the same amount off the good left side. Forever after it flew a lot better! Pleases me to see another SS get a trim.
May I ask what is the length of the wings and fuselage and tail section Is there any way to have a steerable tail wheel ? Any Information I get would be Appreciated very much I love this plane its just what I have been looking for, for a few years now I really want to build one , and can you use a arrow shaft for support of the thin foam down the body ? Thank you Sir I really hope to hear back from you ....
I don’t know the measurements of the plane. Yes you could add a steerable tail wheel. That would help in the wind. The wingtips are cut down he took out some dihedral. He removed the incidence. The vertical stab and rudder is own design. I have not seen Dave in 10 years I don’t have any plans . Sorry
@@dcimagesaz thank you for your reply are you the one asking question ? (in the video ) I guess its build it, and see if it flies ..I am on my own ....lol....what else is new in my world....!.....i will take any building tips you can offer ...thanks.....what is the incidence ?
It definitely is the best looking slow stick I've ever seen too .
I wish some of these manufacturer's were able to have an original idea and put out kits like this. Super nice plane.

Very sharp looking plane! GWS ought to take a look at that design and put it or something similar on the market.
My favorite plane. SO modifiable.

Friggin gourgous !!! Great vid Dude !!!😉😎
I think I'll make my own using an arrow shaft, $ tree foam board and a 3d pen. I'll call it the Super Ultra Cheap Stick or SUC Stick. 🙂
David is a full scale aerobatic pilot that built an award winning Pitts Special . He sold it a few years ago.
Do you know if there is any kind of a build log on the web for his work on this build or for any of his other awesome builds?
Can a person get a direct line with Dave on his plane. Would like to Buy his design for commercial use..

Why would someone want a slow stick to go faster? The object to me of having one is to sloooooooooooooowwwww fly.
+BushPilot444 that is what i was thinking, but it looks like he did not lose the slow ability at all
