@@ShawnDumas I did end up getting the EDC2-DFT version. Nice beam but not for everyday carry. It's way too narrow hotspot and too bright for close range and the low level isn't enough for most tasks. overall, it's a great light if you can afford it.

Car stops, room clearing, searching for perps and self-defense using the light to be able blind an assailant. -- They aren't designed or meant for the average joe to use to look under their couch for loose change. Looking at totally wrong lights for EDC.
