Hey,
Today we share a Kerala Style Kinnathappam Malayalam Recipe.
Kinnathappam looks very much like a steamed cake. But I couldn’t fool my daughter with that pitch and she had at least 5 different reasons why she felt it was not a cake.
There are many variations for this dish from place to place… This recipe uses basmati rice and sugar.. Another version is using matta rice and jaggery.
It can be served as a tea time snack also.. The main thing to get the soft texture is the batter should be sieved through a fine muslin cloth or cheese cloth . And the batter will have a watery consistency, but that makes the kinnathappam softer.. So do try this recipe at home and drop your comments🙏😍
